Btw ... negative edits? That's just him
By:
Johnson is a cross between Sam and Nigel....
By:
He wouldn't pass the physical fortunately
By:
I imagine with his clumsy nature that he would be a serious hazard to himself and others ! Also likely to scare off all the critters !
By:
Rishi more likely. Could sleep on a leaf and actually do combat with a cockroach on equal bodyweight terms
By:
Good evening people, well done early Sam backers
. Over to the important stuff now! |
By:
Enjoy the latest farage defeat
By:
1st or 3rd was perfect for me as I loaded up on Sam - Bellow SFs. And had some of the AP tickets for Farage.
By:
I just mean on a personal level lol
By:
About only contestant I got right on this series was Farage - backed him for top 3 (landed) laid him most heavily for the win (landed).
If that was all I'd done, would have been a much better overall result for me this series ![]() |
By:
ok well as I mentioned a few times, I felt he was a bit disappointing on the show. third was a decent showing considering that, and he was bashed by the production and script 90% of the time.
By:
I don't get that... That was just farage, that's him being him
By:
His vote wasn't relying on show performance though really was it - which is why he could bumble around doing not very much and stroll into the top 3.
By:
No bits of him flying about like superman were edited out
By:
It was two fold. He got the worst treatment. Body shaming for example. Even the exit interview was just loaded questions from tweedle dumb and dumber.
By:
What about all the severely patronising life lessons and other chit chat?
Do we just edit all of that out? |
By:
No, you'd have balance. Nella was mostly vile, Fred was mostly vile, compare the soft soaping they got to the third place finisher. But I don't consider that especially notable, as it was inevitable.
By:
Most people would say Nella and Fred suffered far worse from the edit. Farage was just exactly what i expected, no worse, no better
By:
I think they toned down his bad treatment as that simply
fed the vote for Nigel story. Would love to see voting figures. |
By:
Third Place - Sam 43.35% Tony 30.87% Nigel 25.78%
By:
H2H - Sam 56.64% Tony 43.36%
By:
Quite well clear of each other in both top 2 and winner battles then - wasn't much room for doubt there.
Nigel a clear 5% behind, and Tony well behind Sam in their battle, despite a small gap closing late on. |
By:
Actually, he didn't really close at all, so Sam was always safe...
By:
exchange move before third place elimination was bizarre Dannydogdoo! Seeing those votes makes it even weirde!
By:
Yes, interesting to see what could have happened had the H2H vote been open for a full day maybe, given he was able to close the gap in a short time frame.
By:
yes, sorry my maths a bit unclear on that - he did close slightly from the split vote after Nigel I suppose...
By:
Also completely agree Cider, Anthony and Declans questioning of Nigel at the end was loaded, obviously didn't matter by then but they had a clear agenda against him.
By:
Yeah, not really close, a defeat for facey insta and even the sun poll. Likely most of us too in terms of largest green
By:
And a defeat for those whose politics is based on targeting minorities

By:
was farage always in front of Tony then, till josie went ? and only then tony got in front, by then Sam had already won.
By:
you'd assume so, farage was never in bottom 2 unlike Tony
By:
Not sure we'll ever know. Tony may well have been ahead of Nigel for a number of votes. What baffles me is the pesky insiders were happy to lay Tony @ 100 before Farage was called 3rd and not Farage @ 6. They're clearly not very bright. Assuming they exist
By:
yeh that exchange move was bizarre, was pointing to tony being first out
By:
lol did see that flash up fig, thought he was gone. Sad to say but does look like there were insiders all along, it was just hard to accept for me coz of the way farage's price was kept down. was it insiders ? was it his team ? i'd say a combination of both working separately. which all mean't there was only brief glimpses in time mostly during the edits where big tony greens were ever able to take profit.
those waiting and not acting inplay looking for the optimum lay never had a chance, even in the H2H |
By:
If you're anti open boarders, I'd say that the legal UK population is in the minority compared to the rest of the world. Based on rudimentary maths.

I don't imagine much Josie vote shifting to Farage at all, something we'll never know, or how much she had from the bottom. But looks like it would have been pretty tight. Farage vote shifted to Tony quite a bit.
By:
Yep about a 2% swing to Tony in the h2h
58.4% to 41.6% in the 3 way vote H2H - Sam 56.64% Tony 43.36% |
By:
Mildly interesting how the winner lost the final vote if had been standalone. I wonder how the market would have priced it up.

on app vote and phone voting tony nige sam
