We can completely disagree with someone's political beliefs, but acknowledge they have popularity. There is very little I would be aligned with in Corbyn's politics, but probably 15-20% of the population would still support them. So he is pretty popular, for those of that persuasion.

Corbyn won his seat with a 25k majority, and would probably win most Labour seats with a decent majority

Farage would get nowhere near that majority in any seat.

I wouldn't be backing Corbs to win IAC

There isn't a Labour party member in the country that would lose islington north. It has f all to do with his ability as a politician. There was talk of him going indy for London mayor. That would at least be more representative.

Well he's obviously a good politician, he increased Labours seats by 30 and got 40% of the votes.

I'm glad you appreciate how well he done

Their performance in their seat has very little to do with their abilities as politicians. It's 90% party. So I don't think his abilities are relevant. The fact he managed to make it to leader with his brand of socialism is more indicative.

I doubt there is anyone alive who could win a seat straight fighting as an indy, if the main parties also ran. Johnson maybe straight after his stint as Mayor, but more than likely not now.

It’s just a way more popular bet to back Farage it be eliminated, it’s just not an educated bet
