jungle talk on this morning at 12pm

little segment earlier on the brexit moment with fred and farage, nothing much said.
i think the word brexit just infuriates people these days, no matter what side you were on..the campers reaction to it is general feeling nationwide, i don't see it as motivational fuel for people to vote for farage. its done were out, he won. only die hard weirdo's will carry a vote over to this.

Farage's price to win outright has been pretty crazy, and still is really.

TBF bear Nella has done far better early doors than I expected - but this isn't a bet on 'early doors' - long run, still no chance IMO.

Good trade though, if you backed her at bigger.

I'm still trying to work out who is still backing Farage in the win market and why....?
By:
armagnac
When: 21 Nov 23 13:10
Didn't people on his news channel openly say they were backing him and i guess hard core watchers are the sheep
By:

When: 21 Nov 23 13:12
He's just getting on with it tbf, think he finishes 4th to 6th..no star quality and not enough die hards to get closer
By:
stu
When: 21 Nov 23 13:26
Exactly though - seems fairly obvious he has a hardcore of support that would bother to vote for him, but anyone else wouldn't touch him, and is more likely to actively vote against him.

To back him to win you have to believe he will maintain a mass of positive support - where could that even come from?

I'd get maybe backing the win at much bigger, but not around top half of the market prices...and say that as someone who did rate his top 3 chances earlier on..

Dani was vying for favouritism yesterday. That was much more loopy. The return of c0ck backing quite possibly.

When: 21 Nov 23 13:47
You really think he's a 10/1 shot roughly to win this cider?
By:
stu
When: 21 Nov 23 13:47
I'd say far less loopy that she went very short, as she's a great runner in this to win - though a tad too short she was earlier.

Farage has gears which he is definitely not using. So far. I advanced that we didn't know what his strategy would be, and over the first couple of days he is taking a really passive approach. He is an alpha male but let Fred get on with it. Maybe that's all it is, and all he desires is that most fair people will think better of him before the show than after - he is not trying to win. Personally I feel like carrying red on him for very little gain is an unnecessary risk. T3 lay is the way to go, if you think he isn't going to get anywhere.
By:
stu
When: 21 Nov 23 13:51
I prefer the win lay red myself - feels almost a lock to me, whereas top 3 still brings a bit of doubt if there's enough hardcore out there to get him there.
By:
stu
When: 21 Nov 23 13:52
If he makes top 3, I'd still say he's at least a 10/1 shot to win it against any other two left...

I can't have Dani at all, it would have to be something that we have not seen before. She is much older than she comes across, which is like a teenage girl. I like her personally, but simply pleasant people get nowhere in this. I pretty much gave up single laying ever since GS rooted me.
