This is ESC; my record of 10? 12? max red losers, three or four levelish, and just the one decent winner left me expecting to lose. And I did.

Laugh at Romania voting, giving 6/7 of the power to their 6 jury members which appears to have manipulated a victory for the above.

I think they picked the right one though. Needs different staging though. At first I thought the 16 yr old was the strongest but I think her song is too old ESC.

They've had all public vote before, they keep messing with the voting iirc. They should just do what MF does.

Dipped my toe into the market for the 1st time this year, I like Greece, since I'm pretty rubbish at this I might just let this run for fun and a low stake.

What is the experts opinion on Malta?Represenred by the X factor winner with a song from abroad.Young lady from our sister island of Gozo,in general received well over all.Knowing how seriously we take it over here, seems like a favorable offering..

AT LAST! The moment you have all been awaiting has arrived, with the results from my jury of one, me! Yes, having played my annual ESC game of blindly trading the numbers for months, I`ve just watched each and every official vt for at least 30 seconds; with such new found levels of informedness and expertise, I`m now embarking on the (also annual) ESC ritual of doing my very best to phuck it up, losing the decent equity ignorance managed to acquire, and then cursing myself for being such a fool as to listen to them. But every year, I know I`m going to find the little gem that the whole world and his dog have failed to spot, that is still, inexplicably, available at 1000! So, here we go, pop-pickers!

Israel and Norway the only two I listened to all the way through; had Norway decent green, so topping up a bit, and Israel`s this year`s missed little gem,  Atmospheric, universal uplifting message, lovely crescendos, good-looking singer, excellent vocals, soul-stirring harmonies and home town advantage! What more do you want? 370 available, so they`re now jackpot green.

Italy; my trading`s main strategy has been to have Netherlands max red, the rest varying degrees of green. Having heard it and at the price, Italy`s the first of the other market leaders to be turned max red

Netherlands; well, with a months-long max red, this was the big one, the one that would determine my trading for the foreseeable, necessitating either a biting of the bullet and giving up most of my equity, or carrying the max red to the death! So it was with great relief, mixed with some mockery, that I saw it to be a phucking dirge! Fav? Me boll0cks! OK, perhaps not such a false fav as gorilla-goon a year or two back, but still ridiculously short enough to maintain the max red.

Kinda liked Serbia

Slovenia perhaps my personal favourite. Therefore, can`t win, but I`ve backed it anyway

The rest? I`ve forgotten them already

My thoughts so far after listening to all the songs... I believe there is actually a lot of great songs this year. Never thought I'd say that. Italy and Iceland have even made it into my Spotify playlist! Iceland is a funny one - I can see it winning, but it could just as easy bomb. To be fair, I doubt the judges will score it very highly. Greece is a solid pop song and the staging looks great.

Had a few bets so far: Iceland Top 10. Greece Top 10. Iceland Win.
