14/1 at the time of writing, looking like a slow burner this one amongst some big characters. so will have to be patient and hope the airtime comes as the house thins but i just cannot ignore the boring welsh form of previous runners.

tom last year was the worst performing male we've seen from wales, finishing 4th but he was aligned to a crew of wrong uns.
glyn, dave and joel all finished 2nd, while sam and luke a won there series.
of the 18 previous series, only 6 series have had male welsh housemates so you can see the form is undeniable !! its not as if they've been exciting or entertaining housemates.
dave, sam and joel was boring as feck, tom was annoying, luke a won for changing sex so can discount him...of the lot only glyn really stands out as a hall of famer imo.
to me this only proves one thing the welsh vote is phenomenal, they really do get behind them regardless and Akeem is by far the fittest and hottest male of the lot, this also gives him a big edge in the current series as he looks a lot older than his age (extra mem appeal) and hes coming across far better than the two (younger looking) lewis's who are immature and argumentative respectively.

Akeem from his VT comes across as one of the most normal that entered the house, looks like hes taken up a cooking role from what i can see. also liked the way he gave his all in the task last night, standing there for 7 hours..this bodes well for future tasks, then we had him in the pool with armbands on lol poor fecker cant swim, bless him.

on a side note ive taken some time too look at regional form linked to heavy accents.
only 11 series from 18 had welsh housemates, of those 11 series 7 times the welsh housemate finished top 2..there's a big argument to say lateshya would of made it 8 had she cruelly not been evicted.

17 of the 18 series had either a irish, welsh or scottish runner. 11 times one of those housemates finished in the top 2

now if you include housemates from england with heavy regional accents (up north basically and josie included) of the 18 series, 15 times a housemate finished in the top 2.
so basically the current fav and londoners and most of the south fair extremely badly.

so boring good looking Akeem from wales pretty much ticks every box going Wink

I can see his chances, they might not all be professional wannabes z listers in the house this year but there are a lot of showoffs, Akkeem gets the normal vote.

i forgot to mention the viewing figures are at there lowest ever and dropped another 57k last night too 698,000 which i see going even lower..my guess is it will bottom out between 500/600,000.

so anyone who has a big regional following will surely have a massive advantage over the others, as ireland cant vote the poor ratings hits cian pretty hard imo
if the welsh nation get behind Akeem as they have with previous housemates he looks tremendous value

slow and steady wins the races, but after getting a little more airtime in last nights show our Prince is scoring some points online and starting to get more and more noticed for the genuinely nice lad he is Love

last night also proved his competition for the wet mem vote is non-existent with the other 3 good looking males doing there best to come across as either complete weirdo's (lewis f) an annoying bully (lewis g) and a self-righteous prick (issac) with the latter two thinking there gods gift to women.

his obvious competition for the nice lad vote which almost guarantee's a place in the final in a VTE series is cameron.
one is 4/1, the other is 14/1..total madness imo, the only reason cameron is that price is coz hes the youngest and is currently polling better.
im not even sure hes that nice, something is bubbling under the surface for me...he seems outspoken and confrontational, and not in a good way. the longer the series goes i definitely see a mask slipping off his c0cky face.

Akeem has a very fitting name, all eddie murphy's character wanted to do was appear normal to win the heart of a girl..well Akeem is by far the most normal in the house who is gonna win the hearts of a nation by being the genuinely nice, caring man he is.
Our prince will shine through as the numbers dwindle, his fanbase will steadily grow and grow with every second of airtime he gets while the others will fall by the wayside in a sea of there own demise.

there will be no ups and downs on this journey, it will just be a lovely casual walk into the final and hopefully winnerville Cool

interesting post on fb from one of the current vids, ive no idea if this is true or not but im hoping so.

dean alexander posted:

'Akeem is so gorgeous and does loads of work for charity. perfect bloke'

no time to research this as got a busy day ahead from now but if true and this gets mentioned along the way or he says he'll donate some to charity then another massive plus.
i wonder which charity's he has worked for ?
maybe when he climbed the same mountain a number of times on the same day, i read that somewhere so its probably true
awwww bless my Prince Love

the charity angle would especially enhance his welsh vote considerably too, which im sure the local rags would cover at some point

interesting vid up with lewis f chatting too zoe saying he's distancing himself from issac and lewis g, he mentions that hes approached Akeem saying the same and invited Akeem to hang with him if he likes.

hopefully Akeem accepts and distances himself from team bellend as well, he surely sees there bad news anyway.

Akeem also mentioned hes only had one bad day in the house when talking with cameron and tomasz, saying he went to bed early coz of bad vibes or negativity in the house...think he knows to keep clear of any trouble.

another thing im finding interesting is the support Akeen is getting with the loons of DS
normally they go for the big characters in the early weeks, but after only one week in Akeem the quieter of the males is already polling extremely well, i would of expected this after say 4 weeks after a few more of the louder entertaining housemates had gone but pleasantly surprised there liking him so soon tbh.
coz the way i see it is, if hes winning over DS this early, he should be smashing it with the general public

tibb forum is more aligned with what i was expecting, more midtable with most finding him quiet boring and meh
maybe they will take longer to catch up with DS, but Akeem playing mr nice guy is working a treat if he can keep it up and stay out of trouble
