It really has returned to the karaoke of the early days for the auditions. It's like last year never happened lol.

except there are fewer, if any, real nutters on show

Lanya a shouty mess was dire.

Does the American critique apply to this girl?

By:
I suppose the arena auditions don't lend themselves to the proper nutters.

They used to get ripped apart for singing these dated songs.

Georgia is the only interesting runner for me so far. Vocally up there with Louisa. But not yet betting proposition.

|
By:
Can see some of the Dalton appeal but the reaction was OTT to a staged audition.

I can't really see an angle into why Georgia would receive strong producer backing. But this is heading to a SamBa type year, seemingly.

It really has returned to the karaoke of the early days for the auditions. It's like last year never happened lol. Thank phuck, say I! Most viewers want to know at least one of the songs, yet TPTB tried for a few years to get a `credible` act like last year`s tosh, but the silent majority have spoken; we want Saturday night entertainment, please, and anyone who wants credibility really shouldn`t be home of a Saturday night watching XF with Mummy and Daddy! Did Cowell always have such a `lispy` thing going on, or is it a result of too much surgery? |

Georgia, very nice, I think she is better than Louisa that sang the same song, I believe. I found Louisa even though, a looker as the show continued. But her audition for me, was boring and just didn't like her dress/look on the audition and even the performance bored me. Georgia, very real, good looking, with a bit of work, she would be even more brilliant than she is now. I mean, Adele is a popular popstar. As for the favorite, hmm, am not sure.. So...early backing on Georgia and maybe a lay....for the favorite..

Yep, totally agree tim - classic songs, sung well enough live, were what made x-factor what it is, rather than some rubbish 'urban' tripe they try to mindwash us into thinking is a really great artistic achievement....it's an entertainment show, or should be. |

It really is a strange outright market Georgia laid out to 70 and 100 midweek backed in the low teens at the weekend. Its a very spooky market for sure.
