Even if Rak Su hadn't happened, I just don't see MU as a great fit for the audience. They seem capable but there's no connection. I don't know anything about them.

Little Mix didn't win because they were great singers. Rak Su didn't win because they were great rappers. The 'bromance' was a very powerful thing, plus they made catchy (easy) songs.
