If Chad wins that will be two BB winners in a row that traded early on at odds of 50+ (Isabelle being the other).
By:
And the previous winner, Colleen, hit 42 on here, but was 50/1 on the HS

With another FANTASTIC show for our winner tonight, (including an excellent closing scene), he`d better be ready to rearrange it again soon, with our boy at the top.
Lively touch, the Clark Kent glasses; gives the ladies an entirely different image of their Super Hero to fantasise about. |

Wonder if the public will realise Chad is only keen as he thinks she is a superstar and will give him more fame.
By:
He's one of the most calculated game players the house has ever seen.

I've just realised something - there was a cute series made by some YouTubers some years ago about a guy and his Bunny-Boiling, control-freak girlfriend. It was hilarious but really close to the bone and the guy comes off as the character you feel sympathy for for putting up with her. If Chad plays this right he could do a week of diary-room vents and seem like the heroic tortured-soul, wondering if he's doing the right thing by gambling his future on this head-case he's only known for two-weeks, yet clearly being smitten by her and unable to resist.
By:
Smitten by her?
He thinks she is a super star and wants some of that fame. |
By:
Yeah but that's the reality, not the part he has to play!
By:
There's actually a weird fly-on-the-wall narrative possible whereby Jemma plays the cynical observer throughout and mops up at the 11th hour when the whole fake thing falls apart.

Yet more lows, 5.6 matched

I have to agree with AR about The Chad. I too have come to the conclusion that he really is a truly magnificent manipulator and king of the lounge lizards. I do not, however, believe that his burgeoning flange of supporters are likely to see anything beyond the image that he is so adeptly conveying. Wonderful to watch a master at work in what is, after all, a game, I think his septichood might see him fall short of the top spot but he has given all passengers a splendid trip either way. My compliments to the driver – I’m in no hurry to disembark as yet…each way tickets are no longer available.

BB fans will remember Aaron fondly (the ones that were on him!). The Chad is good but he's not a patch on Aaron as a master manipulator. He had the housemates, big brother himself and the voters on a string!

I never watched back then, Apples. How long ago?
By:
It was in 2011 when I was a teenager and most the forum were in their mid 50s.
By:
Thanks, Tom. I don't think I was on the forum then (and I don't watch civilian BB anyway if that's what it was).

By:
Aaah, fond memories of Aaron... I used to have a `k` after the `c` in my name, but a little local difficulty necessitated a new name so, contrary to appearances, I`m here since 2005, as can be seen in some ancient threads. Didn`t even discover the forum for a couple of years, then spent another two or three years lurking, with just the occasional post, and Aaron was my introduction to full-on posting. Older regs will remember that we used to have a separate BB forum on here, but they`ve all since been deleted, something I regret very much, as I`ve always wanted to go back over that series to see if my posts were actually as hugely insightful as I like to remember. Think I`ve used the phrase `it`s time to bet like men` four times, and Aaron was the first, so I vaguely credit him with taking my forum virginity. With the forum generally hating him, had he lost, it`s entirely possible I would have been shamed off, never to be heard from on here again!!!
So, I`m taking talk of Aaron on this thread as `a sign` that this could be my first winning train; therefore, Henry, yes I do think he can win. |
By:
I'd forgotten about the sub forums, how times have changed. Aaron was a genius bb player, there aren't many runners that have triumphed over the producers on this show.

`The Chad show` continues tonight, with some excellent DR, and then the closing scene; `...Sarah and Chad are in bed, sharing a double bed for the first time and things heat up for the couple.`
By:
I'm not sure that bitching in the DR about his girl is good. Not a sign of a real relationship on his part.
