Caitlyn Vanbeck's has a strong voice but that much stronger to make her fav? We've had no real indications of any TCO yet AFAIK. She is a bloater, not very commercial imo.

"Boys through to Lives are...
Ryan Lawrie. Who went to judges as a wildcard Matt Terry Freddy Parker" What happened to James Hughes? At the auditions he out sang those three by a country mile. Did he murder somebody or drop dead or something? |

I didn't know. Change of plan - as nobody watches it maybe we don't want individual show threads cluttering up the forum

Still early days, much too early to see who could win this...But usually it is easier to see potential winners than shows like Big bro where popularity or other reasons can make someone beat the competition. Xfactor, is mostly all about the singing. And groups don't normally win it.

i'm very glad to not be watching this rubbish but i did catch the last ten minutes of saturday's show featuring the comedy acts and i thought i was watching an rtv mockumentary. amazingly one of the jokers got through

I am finding the show not as good as last year. Also correct me if am wrong, during Xtra factor, they showed other auditions last year. But this year, its more like a talk show and no auditions. Some singers on the show, the standard is good but it is rare this year. Haven't seen anyone good enough to last on the show. So couldn't really say who I like yet and it's too early, still.
|
|
By:
They are showing other auditions on Xtra and maybe more than before. Before it used just to be more joke acts iirc. They never show much of the auditions. It's better this year because it's live - always adds a bit of tension and sometimes a bit of honesty.

Wild Card info from TMix/Daily Mirror
there is reported to have been an extra twist this year with each judge being given the power to pick a seventh wildcard for judges' houses... for another category. According to the Daily Mirror, Nicole will pick a wild card act for Sharon's Overs, Simon will choose one for Nicole's Boys, Louis will select one for Simon's Girls and Sharon will pick an act for Louis' Groups. |

New deal sees Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor on ITV until 2019
ITV today announces a new three-year deal for Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor, which will see two of the UK’s biggest television formats continuing on Britain’s most watched commercial channel until at least 2019. The agreement, with Syco Entertainment and FremantleMedia UK, extends ITV’s successful, long-standing relationship with Simon Cowell for a further three years. The new partnership will commence with Britain’s Got Talent in Spring 2017 followed by The X Factor in the Autumn. Kevin Lygo, ITV’s Director of Television, said: “Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor are both big, brilliant, wonderful shows and I am delighted that they will continue to take up their place as an important part of our schedule for the next three years. They are defining shows for us, ones that we are very proud to have as part of our entertainment slate, and they continue year after year, for months at a time, to be amongst the most popular and hugely entertaining formats on television.” Simon Cowell said: "I want to thank ITV for continuing to be fantastic partners. I'm delighted for the shows and, in particular, for all the talented people who work on them with us.” Richard Holloway, Managing Director, Thames TV, & Interim CEO FremantleMedia UK said: “I’m delighted that we are continuing our successful relationship with ITV for a further three years. We are immensely proud of Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor and we look forward to entertaining viewers for years to come.” |
