Yes, I hadn't realised how good Claudia was, on Saturday, until Sunday and Len's lens

More news here.
Just ridiculous that Daisy is B2. https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/2087786/strictly-come-dancing-judge-len-goodman-reveals-why-people-arent-voting-for-daisy-lowe-despite-her-scoring-higher-than-ed-balls-2/ |
By:
INCORRECT is Len.
It's just the same problem hot young women always have with many, not all obviously, female voters. One woman told me she was "too smiley", another said she was "false". Top comment on a DM Laura article was something like "I don't know what it is but there's something unlikable about her". |
By:
Personally I don't find her overly attractive at all how she's a top model I don't know so don't quite go along with that but yes we've all seen every year that when a good looking girl comes along with a good figure she doesn't go down so well with the female audience through sheer jealousy. That said though Abbey won (even with that awful accent of hers) so it's doable.

The 9's for Ore last weekend were crazy

By:
ridiculous

By:
Ed's song very apt! I hope it's the end of his 'Long and Winding Rd' this Saturday.
By:
Must be very close to being Ed's time to go.....I'm expecting some Blackpool pleas from him on Saturday
By:
Hope so hems. As you know I just don't agree with him staying at someone betters expense. Obviously if by some chance he's in the dance off then surely that's his lot.
By:
yes, thought he would make Blackpool and go that week or week after.
Wondering now if he will make it. Does Daisy get a bounce this weekend and go the following week, or bounce and keep going? Found Daisy irritating and uncouth tonight, and Ore annoying. |
By:
Yep...as soon as he hits B2 he's toast.
By:
Can see one of Daisy / Laura not making Blackpool
By:
VW very likely to be good for Daisy after her Waltz....Laura with a tricky dance to overcome to make Blackpool
By:
I backed Ed to go last week, but must admit I thought he was the most entertaining routine of the night, and knew I'd done my money at the end of his dance.
By:
Yes I think Daisy will shine with the VW. Also there must be an element of people not voting as they think she's safely through so I'm hoping they'll make more of an effort this week. (Says me who's never voted on this in my life!)
By:
Yes I think he's entertaining hems and was a little better last week to be fair. Likeable too so a shame he has to go in a way but his time's up.
By:
Dead cat bounce very much on the cards for Daisy. One fears for Laura for sure, if they want to give Ed another week it will be very difficult for her to avoid the dance off. If she avoids the b2 with a Samba however, she'll start looking like a runner again!
By:
Sure that ‘Bamboleo’ was Georgia's Samba music? I realise it's Samba type music, but they don't often repeat the same music two years in a row?
By:
For me Laura's always been a runner Cider. Always good to my eyes but again maybe the good looking, nice figured girl thing goes against her. Still in with a shout I think.
By:
Her ballroom is largely fine, but fast latin she's looked fairly wobbly up to now imv. If she's able to negotiate this, another of the trickiest dances is out of the way. She looked a bit more confident in the tango to me, but a lot of Samba is out of hold so it will be a big test. She's not going to be able to get near to Georgia's dance to that track.

Bamboleo has been trotted out a number of times tho

Cheers squares, sounded very similar to me!

Tell you what I don't get is the people that can lay Daisy and Laura at the likes of 50/1, 80/1 even 100/1. Yes gun at my head do I think they'll win, probably not but I couldn't lay them at them prices it's very chancy and not exactly value surely.
