I’ve been doubtful but I’ve just seen he’s 68 in the Global Spotify. That may not sound much but only little Sweden have heard him so far, so that’s just from their streams, 500K. He’s the first ESC effort to make the Global T200 so far.

So because of that and other stuff I thought the little brat deserves his own thread. It does stand out and I guess Sweden will become be the new favourite.

I hadn't started watching it in 2008. Based on Laka I think that's a good thing.

I do like the other stuff you mentioned though.

I'm with Henry VIII.  Based on what clips I've seen, I think getting into this in 2010 was the right time to come along.  Poor old Terry Wogan, no wonder he got weary with it all up to 2008.

fll - What I love is that from around 40 countries Sweden's pop perfection (to me Popular is the perfect pop song, despite the dopey lyrics) mixed with quirkiness of Israel's Izabo (2012)  Montenergo's spaceman rap (2013) Israel's golden boy and even the Russian grannies amongst others is what makes it interesting.  So many countries means there's room for the full range of stuff.

App users older on average than Spotify imo. Everybody downloads the app but the young listen to most music.
Report bearcub March 2, 2016 10:20 PM GMT
Spotify users are more likely to be younger (the majority are 29 and under), single individuals who live in urban areas,
and probably largely due to their age and limited income they seem to be more price sensitive.  Active listeners are
also more likely to be on social media sites and they say their friends on social media have some influence over the music
they listen to. Spotify listeners are also more likely to keep up with the latest music trends and events.

Yep. 2nd with the juries. Including 2 nil pts. Which can't be good for it's chances. The pv less of a worry. As the new system basically ensured that there wouldn't be a runaway winner. Lack of love on the forums more of worry. In terms of the price anyway
