Spent three months reversing an initial ma red on Louisa, only to take her red again earlier this week.
I really don`t think tonight changed anything, certainly not enough to justify her price. We pretty much knew what was going to happen, and it all did. In the phone-only days, she obviously romps it. BUT, we`re in the post-apocalyptic world of app voting, with the likes of Vicky bludgeoning her way to victory with the app vote, directly contradicting EVERYTHING we knew and understood. So, we`re not really betting on `Who wins?`, rather `Have apps turned our RTV world on its head?` (Yes, I know they had app voting last year, but the contrast between the finalists doesn`t compare to that between MOP and Louisa.) As such, I think 12.0 is excellent value and, having spent three months reversing an initial max red on Louisa, only to take her red again earlier this week, I have taken her a bit redder. |

None of us knew anything, of course, but most of us have probably felt that we`ve been heading to this denouement for weeks. Anything could have happened, but it didn`t, with things progressing pretty much as expected, meaning that the prices were wrong for weeks, OR they`re wrong now, OR (and this one`s my favourite) MOP have been romping it all along, and the market`s been clueless!
Oh, and one last thing... Cowell himself told us tonight that he thought they could win. He KNOWS!!! All in all, truly minimal risk, in this post-Pattison era. In fact, if the app voters DON`T get MOP home, even more doubt must be cast on Vicky`s supposed win. |
