So NHS are actually leading when both downloads and streams are combined. This is news to me as I thought Bieber was running away with it, but I have only been monitoring itunes and spotify. NHS are 1st and 2nd on Amazon, whereas Bieber is 5th, so Amazon must have a significant amount of downloads. Closer than the odds have been suggesting. Bieber maintaining his downloads and streams is a given, just a question of if the NHS can ramp the support to another level throughout the week.

Not convinced they've got this right. Think they might have meant NHS have 2,000 more downloads than Beiber. Seems very unlikely they have matched Beibers streams in downloads from Amazon.

Amazon's price is only 79p, perhaps this is the go to place for the bargain hunters.

the streams for NHS are picking up. Up to around 33K today compared to 6K yesterday. Still minuscule compared to Biebers but nice increment.

a song needs to be streamed 100 times to equal 1 download sale

can anybody confirm if the NHS single is being sold in the shops... I dont think it is

they have set up another Thunderclap for towards the end of the week. Could be crucial if it is still close. I have to say the campaign team have pulled out all the stops so far, very impressed.

the Thunderclap goes off on Christmas Eve at 5:30pm, the time everyone is at home getting ready for Christmas and feeling festive. Nice timing Cool

I feel they've missed an open goal. Only needed some celeb backing. Still could happen, but Bieber likely to hold on atm

They are refferring to Friday when the NHS was outselling Bieber and the NHS was odds on. The news they post is out of date.

an interesting pointer from tonights SPOTY result

the campaign to get Kevin Sinfield from Leeds Rhinos rugby league side got him over 278,000 votes.

if a small local campaign can manage that then i reckon that the NHS has a decent shot at winning the Xmas no.1 spot as their campaign is national rather than local

goes to show what can happen if enough people get behind a cause

More or less a level year for me on all RTV, until Murray put me ahead last night. Now, the year`s profits are all-in on the NHS. Either a level year, or quite a respectable one. Very optimistic with my prospects, especially as this little beauty of a market almost comes out of nowhere, and every year I forget that it`s coming.
(I know it`s not professional to be thinking in terms of `annual` p and l, but there`s still something satisfying to being able to look back on a calendar year, and to be in front over that year.)

A lot of sales this morning, NHS Choir closing in on Bieber on itunes. The daily streams figure for Bieber has also dropped today from around 525,000 to 463,000 (still a massive amount but dropping nonetheless). The real unknown is Amazon sales. NHS sitting at number 1 and 2 for both versions of the song. Bieber at number 5. I think there are a higher number of Amazon sales than people think, many people have Amazon accounts as opposed to itunes, especially the older generation, plus it's cheaper on there at 79p. This article is also quite interesting: http://tinyurl.com/onbu9n9

The campaign snowball is only just picking up. In a `whoosh`, the market will realise it`s got things wrong, AGAIN!!! Still just about time to get on board one of the easiest winners we`ll ever see in Specials.
FORGET Louisa at 1.2
FORGET Jay at 1.25
FORGET Vicky at 1.3

this one wins far easier at something like 15 times the price of those; quite frankly, a ridiculous price. BAIL on Bieber, while you still CAN!!!
By:

beginning to lose optimism because so far they have thrown the kitchen sink at the campaign yet they are still struggling to overtake Bieber in itune sales, given they are never going to contend with his streams they need to be ass whooping him in the downloads but it just isn't happening at the moment. that Bieber is a machine and if i ever see a Bieber fan i will choke slam them through a table Angry
