Just seen they are up with another book though? When I placed the bet the following terms were on the market which aren't now:

Applies to the UK BBC Radio One number one single for Christmas Day 2015, as announced on the last chart show before 25th December

Yep, they had to pay out this week with that wording

A few of the others were slightly ambiguous with their wording but all seem to be paying out on next weeks chart

the key to the NHS winning this is if its on the evening news.. that would be the best publicity they could get

that would tip the balance massively in favour of the NHS as it could add 100 K extra sales over night

i would be surprised if the BBC or ITN dont run the story this weekend

people love a feel good story in the festive season

Choir needs a huge boost as lost all momentum and is a dead horse as things stand.

Musical taste is very subjective; even so, whether the track is any `good` is irrelevant. This will succeed or fail on emotions. NOT any emotions aroused by the song itself, but the emotions engendered by just being alive, and wanting to share that human feeling with everyone else who share such debts to the NHS. In effect; are you Human, with corresponding emotions? Or are you a JB fan?

People pay taxes to fund the NHS...all part of the Tory plot to privatise it

exactly Tim

who cares about the quality of the song... thats not the point

people already have enough choices if its a quality song they are looking for

the reason for the single is to raise awareness and raise money ..

those who buy or download it do so for those reasons

Raise awareness that the Tories are starving the NHS to death and they need to hand round the begging bowl to keep it going....very clever.

All proceeds from the song will be shared between Carers UK and Mind (including Mind's sister charities in Scotland and Northern Ireland), and a smaller percentage will also be distributed amongst smaller charities in the New Year.

how are they handing round the begging bowl GB2? the money raised does not go to the nhs

the nhs is adequately funded, no amount of money could ever keep up with possible ways to spend it, no person on an average income wants to pay more tax, and the panacea that is put forward by lefties (tax the rich more) would not work, not enough money could be raised, and it stifles ambition.
but you are free to give as much of your own money to the nhs bails, have you donated much?
