"They must think we are stupid" said the rep from a company who accepted bets on an event which had already finished. Says it all that the company which was once the most respected name in bookmaking is resorting to getting scraps of free publicity by announcing their incompetence to the nation.

For Ladbrokes to come out of this with any competence they must have planned this as a publicity stunt all along.

I agree bear. I avoided looking at the betting as I didn't want to spoil the result. Amazed she was 6/4. I thought she was an absolute cert.
