Jealous is a bl00dy horrible dirge.
Didn't Mason sing something called Jealous last week. |
|
By:
is it me or does Louisa's choices look anything but a chosen ones song list? I know the public chose "Love yourself" but even that looks like a ironic piss take.
|
|
By:
Looks like you've all had a bit of fun with 4th Impact's odds. I'll catch up with X-Tra Factor.

The latest article isn't their best.
For some reason they continue to sing the praises of Che,despite all the evidence to the contrary. |
|
By:
True. They know he's reading now
![]() They're very slow to change their views when it's clear their initial thoughts were wrong. I'm surprised they haven't tipped RnB to go again |

I still enjoy reading the site though Tbf....more to count how many "thrown under the bus" or "nuked" comments appear in any given hour

The crescent moon was dropped from the show...Was this due to the attacks? Crescent moon symbolised the Ottoman Empire - The fall of which has been the single root of most middle eastern conflicts but the symbol is now mainly associated with Turkey - well, it is in their flag so that makes sense.
Great X-Tra for R'N'B and 4th Impact so the plunges make perfect sense. |
|
By:
Interesting spot LendUs, but when you say "attacks" I assume you mean Paris and not Turkey v Russian Sukhoi?
|
|
By:
For those that get Reggie & Bollie mixed up- Reggie always stands on the left and Bollie on the right (just like Ant is always on the left and Dec on the right ;) ) TPTB must really want us to know their names (they made sure of it from the auditions- I wonder why ;).
|
|
By:
[X Factor has never had a black male winner & never had a male group win before?]
|
|
By:
The Turkey v Russia attack happened on Tuesday so would be a damn good foresight. The Crescent moon did represent the whole area though.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ottoman_Empire#/media/File:OttomanEmpireIn1683.png All wars in the area over the past 200+ years have in one way or another been related to the borders and dissection of the area by Europe...a conspiracy exposed by the Russian's long before the Ottoman Empire collapsed. Hence, the hate of Russia by our puppets...I mean politicians. |
|
By:
Maybe given them far too much credit though. The producers aren't that well educated, surely? Although it does seem they are waking up to the fact people want to be entertained by fun and entertaining/dance acts so there might be a glimmer of hope if it was to come back next year. Che and Louisa would be an absolute disaster of a bore-fest final.
|
|
By:
I thought you must mean Paris but then it's more than just Turkey / Ottoman Empire (conflicts abounded before the fall of the Ottoman Empire, they caused it to fall) because the crescent moon (along with a star) is also the current symbol of Islam.
And I think you're right, that they wouldn't want to risk any kind of controversy on either side, if they would have spotted it. Even if it worked brilliantly on set. "Hence, the hate of Russia by our puppets...I mean politicians." My feelings too. |
|
By:
Starting to like you Henry :D
Yeah, the Islamic symbolism link is probably a lot more obvious but probably a lot more offensive...sadly I missed that. Both theories are plausible though. |
|
By:
"Starting to like you Henry"
That can be hard I know. Even for me. |

![]() A very odd choice |

By:
so Cheryl and Rita "chose" another song from the jukebox list.

|
By:
Jealous is a dreadful dirge of a song, although I see Oz XF winner sang it in the final and wondering if is supposed to reduce SCowell to tears like Josh's version during the auditions?

Anyone know what religion 4th Impact are?
A way out there theory but this line of thinking won me several thousand in BB in a similar "blind" market with socially contradicting market swings: 4th Impact - Pure virgins (or so are to believe) came to worship their "God" Simon but also to worship Queen Elisabeth, also known as the head of state and also the head of "The Church of England". She loves reality TV. Lauren Murray - Father was a drug dealer from Pakistan - Representing extreme Islam? Louisa Johnson - They tried to position the crescent moon and her as the star of Islam - Maybe to represent all that is angelic of a peaceful Islam. Reggie and Bollie - Can't find anything about their religion but it is probable that they are Christians along with the other 74% of Ghana. I just read that all back and am thinking maybe I need to be sectioned? |
