I wondered that, hems. I think it's for the 2 weeks combined but not clear from wording.
By:
it's too scary to imagine what they must be like
By:
I know, squares. One of life's great mysteries.
By:
DOD looks likely to be dropping down the LB.....in the dance off I'm assuming they have to re-dance this weekend's one, rather than have a choice of the 2 weeks ? Iirc that's been the case the last 2 series....DOD may need the Irish vote to materialise.

Do bwin have any betting shops around Europe? Looking at some of those prices, I'd be tempted to get a flight there & wander in with a shopping bag full of Euros

By:
They do their highest scoring dance iirc hems
By:
fair enough all the old biddies who have been fans of Cliffy for 50 years and grown old with him.
But DOD - I just don't get it. |
By:
Seem to remember Jacklin re-doing that awful Golf/Charleston rather than the previous weeks better dance? Could be wrong though.
By:
Could be quite important....DOD's waltz likely to beat most of the lesser dancers, whereas his Charleston the opposite.
By:
I thought they reprised the dance they did on the night.
Awesome from TJ: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IiAEqoZ6mxE ![]() |
By:
yes, i remember
Probably too difficult for him to change |
By:
Yes. Wiki doesn't say. They definitely do their highest scoring when they do 2 dances a week, but not sure about the 1st elim
By:
Isn't it only in the latter stage of the series when they reprise their highest scoring dance out of the 2 in the dance-off?
By:
last year they both did week 2 dances in dance off
By:
i can check previous years but not sure i can be @rsed
By:
Yep, you're probably right. As you say not really possible to reprise the one from the previous week
By:
I'd still back Iwan to go against DOD but not the cert it would be if DOD did his waltz
By:
week 2 dances prev year
By:
Its the one concern I have over our elim bets Fig.Will have to have another look at the LB and see how much DOD has in hand.
By:
I reckon DOD will get the vote anyway and it's much more likely to be Kirsty or Jamelia in the dance off with Iwan
By:
all this dust is making me sneeze
By:
Hope so Fig....we're in a good position in this elim,so would be nice to cash in.
By:
Just watching Einstein again in his training....his left (good) arm/shoulder is high, but his right (bad) arm shoulder is around Oti's waist.
By:
It would certainly be a good start to the series if it's 2 from Iwan, Kirsty and Jamelia
By:
And TJ's Charleston wasn't his highest scoring dance.
By:
it looked like a drunken bear hug - i don't think Ian was in the know regards the shoulder from his comments
By:
Slightly tempted to add Einstein to my elim bets as insurance. I think his waltz will be ok tho. I assume he's just saving his arm during training
By:
he'd have had a stroke having to change out of all that cliched old golf gear in a hurry, esp if Aliona was changing at the same time
By:
Concerned also, fig, & have taken some 20s as insurance.
By:
true squares |
By:
i guess there is the issue of the lighting/stage setting/camera angles etc...as to why they may have to do the 2nd dance?
By:
There's a small clip of him in the group dance in hold and he looks fine to me. Posture and hold ok. His footwork should should be good
By:
Running order very important on Saturday. With such a long show being on 2nd or 3rd and you've had it, if you're near the bottom
By:
Very true Fig ....RO a big factor.I've just had a saver on Einstein.....it's DOD who is worrying me the most, just no way of telling the extent (if any) of the Irish vote.

Trap 2 has been B2, 3 out of the 4 years
By:
The winnings limit of 0.37 is exceeded for this pick.

By:
Missed last year, where traps 3 and 4 were B2
By:
They can, and will be, watching DOD from all over Ireland. You`d have to assume TPTB like this, and would rather he stayed a bit longer, at least.
By:
edit, 2 and 4, so 4 out of 5 years trap 2 has ended up in the dance off
By:
Some free money on the bwin lines, unfortunately it's a mirage.
