Good Angry
fwiw the real break is after Austria, as expected. Conchita comes on and does some terrible reports from the green room

I don't understand all this negativity towards Conchita?

She's been asked to do a job and doing it to the best of her ability

She's a singer

That's it - Conchita's a singer but I think because's a drag act in essence that she's a natural comedian as well.  Might as well hired Chandler's dad from Friends if they wanted a drag act

Just had my first look at the finish last market. UK favourite seems a bit harsh. A lay?

Backed Italy before seeing this with a view to laying in running. I am pretty sure that after performing last and looking at the voting order Italy will be leading after 5 or 6 votes. Price will collapse but then they will get reeled in.

Italy just stole the show. Reaction was bigger than Austria, applause the whole way through from start to finish. #Eurovision

Finland who is 3rd to vote in the running will usually award high votes to Estonia/Norway/Sweden so will be interesting to see who will take the early lead.

Italy will:

1. Montenegro..though I read something but can't find it
2. Malta...number 1 in their itunes chart
3. Finland...61 in itunes and 4th biggest vote giver to Italy
4. Greece... 11th in itunes
5. Portugal...highest vote giver to Italy

After that 8 eastern countries where I suspect opera might not be appreciated but tbf a few have it in their charts.

Looks like TPTB have pimped them and backed it up with some good early scoring. Could be wrong but I'm working on basis of an initial big price drop in all markets.

I sincereley hope Italy completely bomb though as I'm fed up with Popera entries and trying to figure out how they will do. Worst thing that happens is that it wins or does well enough to encourage other natons to try

so as far as the majority in here are concerned, Sweden is a solid bank doubler and the contest has already been decided?
By:

When: 23 May 15 17:00
Well no, if you look at the forum top 10 poll,  Sweden finished 3rd in that although some people decided before todays sweden mini price crash and voting order reveal

I really don't think it deserves to win, but it's political voting etc. I don't think Russia win on the basis that they're deeply unpopular right now because of Ukraine and also their attitude towards sexuality. so that leaves us with Italy v Sweden
