What makes you think it was one person Clyde? Would they not have tried to be more inconspicuous? Looked like a group of people and lemmings falling over themselves to catch some free money, sub 1.2 before the lines opened from 1.6 despite polls saying it was pro Lewis, the order saying pro Rory. I think it was lemmings getting carried away with the show bias.

Father are you suggesting and judging that the golfer had the best achievement of the year and should be given the award directly? If so, perhaps you would consider that only one world record was set by those shortlisted and that was by Adam Peaty in the 50m Breaststroke in the European Swimming Championships in Berlin. If the award must be given by default to the 'best achievement', surely Adam would receive it having achieved something no other human being has ever achieved. Fortunately as we are not in North Korea, this award is run on a democratic basis in that once an invited panel of experts have concluded their deliberations and chosen a final shortlist of 10, the public are then allowed to participate and vote for the person or persons worthy of receiving their vote or votes. It then becomes extremely simple in that the person with the third highest number of votes is announced in third place, the person with the second highest number of votes is announced as the runner-up and the person with the most votes is announced as the winner - it really is a simple concept that most can understand. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't beleive they make any allowances for the participation numbers of children, though I do understand go-karting is exceedingly popular with the young these days thanks to the F1 stars. Were you saying something about hitting a stationary ball?
