Bounce more likely imo, many of SK's votes will be headed in Lauren's direction - and at this stage that is a lot.

Jealous girls are going to switch to Lauren? Think they are more likely to shift over to Ben myself, if not for his singing, definitely his looks.

talks about star duets with Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith, when we know it is more likely to be the mentors and someone who used to be in Boyzone!

There was talk of Madonna earlier in the series, but only possible if Madge personally approved the finalist she was asked to perform with.

Question on the official site.....

Why did the Stereo Kicks leave the competition?

There were too many members

The competition with the final five acts was tough

You didn't hear them all sing enough

Louis didn't choose good enough songs

The public didn't vote for them

I'm guessing the last answer may be correct Crazy

themes update from tmix

no clarification over sing off or no sing off really (reads most likely no sing off?)

The latest X Factor 2014 theme has been confirmed as a very festive Christmas special!

It’s the live semi-final on The X Factor UK this weekend as the final four acts fight for a spot in the final.

Lauren Platt, Andrea Faustini, Fleur East and Ben Haenow are all left in the competition and will be singing twice again this weekend.

The first set of song choices will take the form of a Countdown to Xmas theme, show producer Mark Sidaway tweeted.

He wrote online this week: “X Factor goes festive this weekend with our Countdown to Xmas theme”

The second theme has not yet been confirmed but in most previous year’s at this stage it’s been a free choice of ‘Songs That Will Get You Into The Final’.

After the remaining four piece have each performed twice, the public will then vote and three of the remaining contestants will make it through to the last live show of the series in front of a 10,000 strong audience at Wembley Arena.

This weekend’s live show will also see another trio of guest performances with Fifth Harmony, former X Factor champ Sam Bailey and Frozen star Idina Menzel.

Andrea shortening in the outright and elimination. Guess it makes sense. They'll probably do what they can to dump him this week, but if they can't it means he has a good chance and the voters have warmed to him again

Regards a sing off. Surely its like every year before. ie -- if the vote is going the way Simon wants it to go then no sing off and if not then its the Wombles of Wimbledon making full use of the things that they find. Make Andrea sing Diamond
Dogs with lightning taking out Mel B and Shettle.

The thought of Andrea singing anything makes me feel sick tbh. The screeching, the gurning, the not being able to understand a word, the arrogant smirk at the end of the song, eurgh

Andrea and Ben have one awful song, one good song

Fleur has two songs that should suit her perfectly imo

Lauren just has two bizarre song choices, not quite sure what to make of them

Interesting Fleur doing a song that was released 2 weeks ago, has anyone ever done a song more recent than that?

Same old plan for Andrea - if you like if before you'll like it now and vice versa. Not going to get any new fans with those.

ROFL at them giving Lauren a song that was rejected last week. Only possible plus is she will pick all the OD/SK fans now SK are done.

Classic MEM stuff for Ben - hard to see him not making the final with those.

Fleur not sure about Uptown Funk but overall I'd say her 2 are pretty decent.

Fleur on BBC Breaky 9.05

I can remember Andrea being on about 6 weeks ago, and various others along the way so I don't know if Fleur is the last of the lot of them or if all the finalists get an airing this week.
