Christina was almost certainly leading the vote until the last voting window...his song wasn't all that until the crescendo...coupled with Will's tears = victory.

I suspect she was 3rd throughout

After his duet he was max red for me. As with Andrea, one good final song is all it takes. Feeling rather fortunate to have been able to get back on him.
One for the forum, with everyone against Christina?

As tim says, I think we were all against CM.
I was on Jamie for a trade

Jermain sings a song properly and wins. Imagine if he was allowed to have sung three normal songs.

It's all about the wow nowadays, not the demographic. Which makes it a lot more exciting. Didn't watch the show because don't like the format but enjoyed the final (as i did last years).

Well played Jermaine backers the last song and his likeability won it for him, certainly wasnt his duet with Will. Neither Sally nor Christina likeable enough.

Even Hems who was pro CM layed her at the end and Backed Jermain

I think it was a decent forum result

Weird thing is,if you read all that stuff elsewhere,I was always saying how much I liked him.....just wasn't convinced he could get enough votes to win.

Pleased you won a few quid pal.......hopefully you'll stop moaning now Laugh

Hamsterdam, I think most of us were on Sally, pre-show. I think most of us were, more accurately, anti-Christina, and Sally seemed the safest green. When circumstances change, I/we change our minds. Being Specials, Christina hitting 1.4 was all the circumstancial change necessary.

I was musing last week Jermain was under rated and could break the mould so to speak. My own preconceptions of voting patterns and prejudices stopping me playing. Oc will never know but I'd love to see the voting at cut off.

Roughly translated:-

Jermain saved our arses with that last song.

I missed the big prices on Sally earlydoors but I got them tonight Grin
Jamie was my only bet pre show.
He was a strange one. Likable smiley guy with an excellent voice. Just lacked some star quality
He'd have probably done better on the XF with the longer format

Can't have Sally as 2nd based on what I seen tonight. Guess the Star will settle that debate.

She'd have been 2nd based on previous weeks

Sally was dire tonight, and a bit iffy last week. A case example of how to throw away a winning position.

I think it was nerves

She mumbled her way through 'Both sides now'
