I don't think I was too far off with the jury vote, elsewhere

Seppblatter robbed of a top 10 by juries

If Malta ever send a decent song

The juries rated it The UK one put it top

The Polish vote a bit of a conundrum. I thought it was pretty jolly ESC tosh but conventional wisdom (I think) is mostly women and gays vote so how does it get 5th? Decent diaspora vote I guess but does that explain it?

Probably a little of both. Horny Poles missing their wives and horny british guys forced to watch

but 5th overall in the pv? Only made final once since 2005 and then was 24th. Germany gives it most votes so no reall voting block as neither east nor west really. An interesting one.

I still think it's mainly a diaspora vote that had a song to vote for that couldn't have been more perfect for Polish guys away from their families

Yes for the UK but there aren't poles everywhere shirley. The fact they won the UK vote suggests either multi voting or a pretty low total vote imo.

Poles working all over Europe. Especially Ireland, where they topped the pv too and Sweden, where they were 3rd

Don't start believing Farage that all the 'damn foreigners' are here

Hasn't helped them much the past few years

Perlease they don't call me TM

True, but they haven't had a song, video and stage presentation that would appeal so much to young male guest workers

Infact forget the song. I doubt the 44 million who have watched the video were doing so because of the quality of the song

Watching and voting are different things. The Greeks and Turks you could rely on to get any old shyte to the final and beyond.

What price you take UKIP most seats or votes?

4/7

And I'd like to wish you good luck but.............

and 1/2

No lose situation. If Farage doesn't win I can have a good laugh at him. If, as expected he does, then I've had a winner

most votes or seats? not had a bet but my own "polling" has them ahead. That said I see the Dutch equivalent have seen a drop in their vote.

Funny seeing the right wing anti gay/xenophobic Daily Mail trying to bus them; shows how Tory led it is. Farage is teflon man in that a lot of the GBP just see him as being bullied by the media. Be lucky to get 10% next year.

Most votes. Most seats takes more work and I'm lazy

Indeed. Business as usual at the GE, but the voters love to give the main parties a kicking in these votes that don't really matter

If that Newsnight report is anything to go by then UKIP have hacked up

Missed it but like I say I have them ahead plus the fact that their supporters are more likely to vote and 4/7 is a good price. I'm thinking of breaking the bank to get some 4/11 ish a No vote in Scotland.

Glad i'm watching Sky

Kirsty Allsop on Question Time if she is anyone's guilty secret...not mine I must admit.

Not keen either

Daniel Hannan ‏@DanHannanMEP 2m
Now at the count in Basingstoke. It has been a long day and, to deal plainly, I fear it will not be our best result.

As for turnout -

Labour source: "Turnout looking low-to-mid 30s.

If Hannan has lost Ukip will have hacked up all over the shop

Is this forum fooked with repeated posts or just me having broadband problems? Euro votes not being counted tonight? No results till Sunday? If Tories doing badly in the locals must favour UKIP.

They can count when they want but can't publish the results till Sunday night

Forum ok here.
Yep. Early signs are that UKIP are doing surprising well in the locals = p1ssing up in the Europeans

Went to vote at 6pm and asked for turnout. Very low turnout in a relatively affluent area. About 10%. Even counting for another 4 hours and postal votes and it looks low. Went on Oddschecker to bet on low turnout but no markets. Closed when polls opened? In the GE you can bet on turnout in running.

The Tories on politicalbetting in tears

Much joy if they are....as a leftie I just hope Labour does ok.

They were all hoping Labour would be 3rd. Looking unlikely

I'm glad Clegg is likely to get a good kicking. More of a koont than Cameron

The hypocrite accused Farage of being on the Euro gravy train...this from an ex MEP and Euro apparatchik.

St Anne's (Sunderland) Result:
LAB - 48.3%
UKIP - 33.2%
CON - 14.1%
GRN - 4.35

Pallion (Sunderland) Result:
LAB - 47.8%

General Election ‏@UKELECTIONS2015 2m
#RUMOURMILL

#UKIP storming it in Broxbourne

Suggests UKIP will p1ss up overall

Tories hold 27 of the seats there atm. Labour the other 3

Sandhill (Sunderland) Result:
LAB - 65.6%
CON - 24.2%
LDEM - 10.2%

The Tory vote has virtually halved in Pallion. Lab down a few%. Ukip didn't stand last time but the BNP got 15.8%

#RUMOUR that UKIP have won two seats in Woking.

1.01 coming

Was it Hems new pic ?

Hendon (Sunderland) Result:
LAB - 53.8%
UKIP - 29.6%
CON - 13.4%
TUSC - 3.2%

Crazy that you get the results online about half an hour before the tv

St Chad's (Sunderland) Result:
LAB - 40.8%
CON - 35.1%
UKIP - 21.1%
LDEM - 3.1%

Doxford (Sunderland) Result:
LAB - 47.3%
UKIP - 25.2%
CON - 20.8%
GRN - 6.7%

I shan't post anymore im bored now

So am I

Only because the last 2 showed UKIP slowing up

#RUMOUR that UKIP have won seats on Kingston (London) Council. UKIP candidate says he will pass out if true.

And die hopefully

Doxford last time

Doxford[11][13]

Conservative Richard Vardy 1,178 41.6 +17.5

Labour Linda Mitchell 991 35.0 -0.8

Liberal Democrat Lewis Green 371 13.1 +13.1

BNP Peter Swain 292 10.3 +1.9

UKIP make lousy councillors. Like the BNP. People get the Government they deserve.

They're not as bad as the BNP tbf

Clegg going well

Wasn't you a big Clegg fan 4 years ago Fig?

hi ho

I've never liked him. Always thought he was a Tory in Lib Dem clothing. I did, like plenty of punters though, overestimate their vote at the last GE

He lost me plenty of my NOM winnings

I was stupid not to trade out of my lib dem bets

Unlucky mate

Thanks

Ukip

NOM?

no

I backed the fookers to win about dozen seats. They all shortened significantly, but they only won one of them iirc

No om

No Overall Majority

ffs i was playing hangman

Was massive value at the last election. Partly thanks to the crazy Tories who post on politicalbetting. I enjoyed taking their money

Mannington & Western (Swindon):
LAB WIN.

..and then going and laughing at them

I guess they had the last laugh with Clegg handing Cameron power

Mannington & Western (Swindon)
LAB - 42.7%
UKIP - 26.1%
CON - 24.5%
LDEM - 6.6%

Looks like UKIP are damaging Labour more than the Tories

Southcoates East (Hull):
UKIP GAIN

The Polish song was catnip for UK voting demographic, as was Austria. Do not think it was purely diaspora. Conchita apparently a vote for 'tolerance' & yet there were vast swathes of the live audience booing the Russian twins

You think the UK voting demographic votes for t1tbirds? They don't in BB.

Nadia

Nadia = Conchita = Dana International........must be the Polish vote wot did it....just can't have MEMs and gays voting for them here.

Some gays maybe given their kitzhness......

Sophie

They love novelty, in an ESC context George - Russian grannies, Jedward, Poland this year, & Austria of course, sadly. Bearded drag act cost me my biggest ever tv betting win. Netherlands winning semi 1 softened the blow.
