Betfair prices on Tuesday, after the Judges Houses weekend. We have a final 12 for the first live show on Saturday with no word or mention, even hint, about any wildcards BUT the Betfair market tells a different story with highly suspicious prices for several of the "non runners".

Also of note, the final 12 include one contestant who was rejected at Boot Camp and THREE contestants rejected at Six Chair Challenge Shocked

The three groups have had, what now seems obligatory, a change of name. 5 AM are now 5 After Midnight. The Brooks are now Brooks Way and Ottavio & Bradley are now Bratavio

Report ahorsewithnoname October 14, 2016 8:27 AM BST
Early Saturday evening, and hour or two before the show started, news broke that Brooks Way had been thrown out
At the start of the show it was, eventually, announced they had just been suspended
On Monday morning it was announced they had left the show for good "by mutual consent"
Later on Monday it was revealed 4 of Diamonds would replace them

First elimination - Bratavio

This year, for now anyway, a change in the process whereby the bottom 3 are announced then there is a 4 or 5 minute flash app vote only for one of these acts to be saved before the remaining 2 acts then have the usual sing-off
The acts were called safe in the following order - Relley, 5AM, Matt, Sam, Ryan, Emily, Honey, Gifty
This left Bratavio, Saara Aalto and Freddy Parker the Bottom 3 before Freddy was then saved
After the sing-off, Bratavio were voted off by 3 of the judges

On Friday morning Bratavio were the 2/1 favs to be eliminated first. Relley was 5/2, Saara 13/2, Honey 10/1, Freddy 11/1, 20s bar
Saturday afternoon and Bratavio were 7/4, Relley 2/1, Saara 8/1, Freddy 9/1, Honey 10/1, 20s bar
After Saturday's show, Bratavio were 6/5, Freddy 9/2, Relley 5/1, Saara 7/1, Ryan & Honey 16/1, 25s bar
Sunday morning Bratavio now Evs, Freddy 7/2, Relley 7/1, Saara 8/1
Early Sunday evening and Bratavio now odds on, 5/6, Freddy 100/30, Saara 9/1, Relley 11/1
During the sing-off, Bratavio traded around the 1.25 to 1.3 mark

Fourth elimination - Gifty Louise

Lines again opened at the beginning of the show. Gifty sang first and in the SCD overlap

Dermot said there had been 2.3mil votes in the 24 hour period, which doesn't seem much seeing as there was supposedly 1.7mil votes in the 4 minute flash vote the previous Sunday (unless I've got that wrong)

The acts were called safe in the following order - 5AM, Emily, Matt, Sam, Saara, Honey

This left Gifty and 4oD in the bottom 3 along with Ryan who was saved for the third consecutive week in the flash vote

6pm Saturday   -   Saara was 2.9 - 3.1 for elimination, Ryan 3.65 - 4, 4oD 4.5 - 4.9, Sam 8.8 - 10, Gifty 16.5 - 24, 27 bar
After the show   -   4oD 2.86 - 2.98, Ryan 4.1 - 4.3, Saara 4.6 - 4.9, Gifty 6.4 - 10, Sam 14 - 19, 32 bar

8:13pm Sunday   -   4oD 1.98 - 2.02, Ryan 3.9 - 4.1, Gifty 6 - 9, Saara 8 - 12
Gifty sang first. Don't have accurate records for Sunday's show but Gifty was trading 1.25 - 1.3 at one stage during the sing-off
The judges voted Gifty off 3 to 1

Sixth elimination - poor 17 year old Sam Lavery

The Star broke the news on Saturday the flash vote would be ditched. Dermot confirmed this at the beginning of the show, that now we were at the business end of things it wouldn't be used any further

Saara sang first and was praised. Sam sang next, totally stitched up with a slowed down I Will Survive (ironically), then Ryan sang third. Sam was the only one who sang then without an ad break had another act afterwards

6pm Saturday   -   Ryan favourite at 2.54 - 2.92, Saara 3.35 - 3.5, Sam 3.8 - 3.9, 26 bar (Ryan had shortened with news the flash vote wouldn't be used)
After the show   -   Sam 1.7s, Ryan around 4, Saara around 7, 30 bar
Sunday 7:15pm   -   Sam 1.78, Ryan 3.8, Saara 7.8, Honney G 29, Emily 38, 5AM & Matt triple figures  (Emily had shortened after making a poor Wishing on a Star)
Just before vote close   -   Sam 1.88 - 1.91, Ryan 3.15 - 3.7, Saara 7.2 - 9.6, Honet G 15 - 35, Emily 19 - 26

At 20:05 Dermot said "there's just 3% of votes between the bottom 3"
At 20:15 Dermot said "over the last 24 hours the 1st and 2nd place have changed a number of times, and the 2 acts who have been at the top who have never been top before" sic

Dermot said there had been 2.5mil votes

The acts were called safe in the following order - Saara, Matt, 5AM, Honey G, then the last person safe would be announced later. We then had ads, Olly Murs singing, more ads, then Emily announced safe

- Sam sang first, was initially 1.5s then 1.6s during singing. She drifted further to 1.7s when Ryan was singing
- After the two judges saved their own acts, Louis said he would send Ryan home. Sharon was last to decide and amongst her gibbering, said "Ryan you have improved so much...I don't know what to do...the name of the act I'm sending home, it's only because he's been in the bottom so many times...I hate to do this...then Dermot urged the name you are sending home Sharon...Sharon replied Sam!
- It then went to Deadlock. The prices were obviously all over the place during all this. Sam matched as high as 4 with even a little matched at 5. Her last price matched though was 1.62 when it went to Deadlock. Ryan had shortened to around evens after Louis decision then matched down to 1.5 during Sharon's decision. Lpm 2.38

I hate doing this thread in the early stages, the show's too messy, too many runners, grrr

So last weekend we had a two hour Boot Camp show on Saturday where the first 90 minutes showed the singers performing in groups of 4 acts with some going through and others rejected. The last 30 minutes and all of Sunday's 90 minute show then had individual acts singing in front of the judges and an audience before being rejected or going through to 6CC. This coming Saturday continues this for another 90 minutes then on Sunday it's the first (of 3, we think) 6CC shows

Grace Davies
During last Saturday she continued to be relentlessly backed, reaching a low of 3.25. After being shown over the weekend she started to drift a bit. Just before Sunday's show she was 3.8. During Monday she was trading around 4.3 and steady. News then broke Monday evening she was being advertised singing in some charity concert on 4th November which is when the live shows would be on, suggesting she might not have made the live shows. She drifted as high as 21, shortened to around 8, drifted again to around 13 before then shortening back. When I woke around 7am Tuesday she was trading around 6 and then slowly shortened more all during the day and right now is 4.4, right back where she was on Monday. Strewth!

Current prices:
4.4 - 4.5.......Grace Davies
7.2 - 7.4.......Sean & Conor Price (Shelby Park Boys)
7.8 - 8.........Holly Tandy   (was shown doing well on Saturday's show, shortened to 10 during Sunday, shortened more after Sunday's show)

Tuesday morning after last Saturday's final 90 minute Boot Camp episode (with Grace in pimp) and Sunday's 90 minute 6CC episode which covered the girls
This coming weekend are 2 x 2 hour episodes which will complete 6CC for the other three categories

Grace Davies Price
After my posting last Wednesday, Grace drifted to 5s on Thursday and even 6s on Friday before shortening back. After Saturday's show she was 4.2 and continued to shorten more during Sunday, trading around 3.7 just before that show. After the show she was 3.4 - 3.6. At some time on Sunday, I think during the show, she was matched at a new low of 3.15. She's drifted a tad during yesterday

Saturday's Boys & Girls Show

The was a big move for Lloyd leading up to the show, he had been matched as low as 16

As Lloyd was about to sing in pimp, he had been matched at 11 (At this time Rak-Su were getting matched at 4.3 and had been matched at 4)
When the market suspended for the elimination, Grace lpm was 5.2, Lloyd 10
After Spencer's elimination, Grace was announced as topping the evening's vote, which obviously crashed her price back to around 3.5 before slowly drifting out a little, whilst Lloyd's price shot back out to around 30

8th Elimination - Sean & Conor Price

For the 7th live show the Groups and Boys sang with the bottom two going after the 11 1/2 minute vote

CORRECTION to my post two up. I said Sam Black was eliminated 7th and Sean & Conor Price 8th but actually they were just both announced as leaving so we don't know who was bottom of the vote (though very likely to be Sam) but in any case it doesn't really matter as didn't impact any betting markets

9th & 10th Eliminations (order unknown) - Rai-Elle Williams & Holly Tandy

For the 8th live show the Girls and Overs sang with the bottom two going after a 4 minute vote
In Betfair's Double Elimination market, just before the show, Rai-Elle was trading 1.45 - 1.49, Matt 1.67 - 1.75, Holly 2.26 - 2.58, Kevin 3.65 - 4.5, Grace 9 - 15
Rai-Elle was matched between 1.49 (+ £6 at 1.6) and 1.2 (+ £76 at 1.16) with lpm 1.22. Her lpm in the Outright was 280
Holly was matched between 2.62 and 1.25 which was lpm. Her lpm in the Outright was 80

Grace was mostly matched between 16 and 12 with lpm pennies at 44

The winning selection, Rai-Elle & Holly, traded between 5.2 and 1.5 which was lpm

8th Show Winner - Grace Davies

Rai-Elle traded between 75 and 12, all for very small amounts, with lpm that 75
£4,884 total matched

4th Weekend Prize Fight Winner - Rak-Su
Rak-Su (Saturday winner) v Grace (Sunday winner). Rak-Su sang first, then Grace, then a 10 minute vote. I think Betfair suspended the market a couple of minutes early
Saturday winner traded between 1.73 and 1.33 (+ £40 at 1.22) with lpm that 1.73
Sunday winner traded between 2.68 and 1.34 which was strangely the lpm (only £24 matched at that price though)
