Great value on this bet at the moment, because, although he wont get the job full time by most manager markets, he should get it according to betfair rules, which state he only has to manage for 3 games. He has been guaranteed 2 already, and the FAI said they hope to have someone before christmas, but might not. There will be another friendly on November 14th. So, there is a great chance he will be in charge for that too. That would qualify him for the job according to betfair rules, and no other betting company.

In soccer Martin O' Neill will appoint his own backroom staff when he takes over as Republic of Ireland manager this week. A deal to appoint O' Neill as manager has been agreed, with Roy Keane to take on the assistant manager role. An official announcement is expected tomorrow, with a press conference to take place later this week, possibly on Thursday.
The Northern Irishman is also considering bringing Steve Walford, Steve Guppy and former Irish goalkeeper Seamus McDonagh onto his coaching staff. O'Neill will claim a salary of around 1.2 million Euro, with an 800 thousand euro bonus should Ireland qualify for Euro 2016 in France.
