Don't mind Jason having his cut, provides a service and TV Polls still gives you a good edge. Other than on here and a few forums most don't know it exists.

TM

I forget the exact details, but she was pplling nothing, yet she was a crazy short price. I think she avoided eviction a few times, much to our amazement. We began to build a `he`s rich, and he`s buying her the victory with a team of voters` conspiracy. It went on too long, and she was too, too short. Something happened (maybe he  let slip something?) and, all of a sudden, we were onto him. It went all over twitter, and I believe there were one or two articles in the press about it. Within hours, her price crumbled away, and she came an honourable nowhere.

Better memories can correct the details, but that`s the gist of it.

Not sure gb , u could clear a fair amount , just imagine if u made these polls up after a few years of being trustworthy , u could have it away
Hopefully not

That pretty much sums it up Tim.
Though opinion differs as to whether there was ever going to be an attempt to fix the result.
I believe he was probably going to have a go, but got cold feet because of the betfair DA Wink

I suspect that ozzie pap may have survived a couple of evictions by paying friends to keep him in

the Patricia Penrose market move were not a back to lay scam as far as I could see, more we are going to get her the votes to win and make some money on the side as well, when it came out, either ch5 stopped it or he decided the bad press would defeat the  objective

I think so too fig. I've never seen anyone less likely to garner votes normally

I didn't realise people told him on Twitter they were on to him. I remember she went as short as about 4/1 from about 80/1, and created decent value on Rylan.

I got a pretty big price on her being 5th to be evicted, and she was 6th (2nd on the night to be evicted) Cry

Trish layers beware. Week ago contacted by a big player. Done his sums and voting levels really low and ripe for a coordinated campaign. Wouldn't say who was the chosen one unless I agreed. I declined, but it's clear that he's got a decent network to rattle 1000 votes each and obvious who chosen one is now.

To initiate the gamble no phone calls were ever needed

fair play to him i say, hope hes made a fortune out of it.
if i could do it i would and i am urging bails too make the most of the HG
people can moan about it all they want
simple - get off your arse and go and canvass your own voters
its really not rocket science or that difficult to set up is it  ??

if you dont like it, dont subscribe to it or take any notice of it.
i hope hes reading this puffing on a huge cuban and savoring every mouthful of the worlds finest malt with a huge grin on his face

You weren`t saying that when you were half way to Paignton!

I believe he reports what he finds.

I`m not sure that I do anymore. He may well have it right for the final, to maintain a good record, but he`s had the money by then.

army,
if you`re referring to me as `bitter` you are wrong. As an indie, I`m well accustomed to winning and losing far more every day tha I will on this CBB. Losing money holds no fear for me, and certainly doesn`t engender bitterness. In fact, on balance, I`ve probably made good money from his polls over the years. I`m just positing a theory, one which I only half believe myself.

why has gs odds changed from 5.3 @ 5-30pm  (when i backed her ) to 2,5 ish now , when she wasn't. In the eviction poll , and showed nothing in tonight's show .
Twitter showing always been fairly good as well as other polls apart from tv polls generally.

Yes. A poster, again forgotten who, had access to certain bookies` records.

I beg to differ tim. No polls are perfect and none of the moves this series have surprised me. It's been an incredibly fluid year.
GS gaining a little not a surprise. The 1st half of last nights show was terrible for her, but I can imagine many people feeling sorry for her when she was in tears in the 2nd half

I mourn the death of BB Online. By far the most accurate fan site poll. Though he was a gambler as well.
