actually asanda wasn't average, her performance was much better than her audition imo. but a bit freaky seeing an 11 year old act mature.

I didn't think James was much cop, and do quite like magic, but I was swayed by the facebook likes, twitter etc.

Basically, Attraction will win tomorrow, they'll be the bookies faves, effictviely this week has been terrible for value-hunters as the short-priced fave keeps winning.

Aliki for me is a face among many for me, I didn't think her voice was great. Attraction will win easily for me.

There probably is an element of that Henry, but I do wonder if they have done it to test Attraction's vote as much as anything.

Is Aliki really a big deal, there are ALWAYS, 'she's not just lucky to be auditioning, she's lucky to be alive' stories every bloody year. I couldn't care less.
I'll take any price on Attraction to win above 1.25

testing vote - i think that's over analyzing popking. itv just want big viewers for their saturday night.

Aliki had a great voice.  The song she sang is not easy to do well as Ella proved on XF last year.  The backstory is genuine (this time) and will help her connect especially if it's another emotional song.

She is far better than Faryl, Boyle or any other females that have been on this show IMO.

I can't see her beating Attraction tomorrow, but the vote splits may give TPTB a benchmark to work out if they can get Attraction beat come the final.

attraction we know will perform well. well i'm pretty sure we know. it will be a good test of aliki, but they're probably confident for her.

I would have expected them to be happy enough with Attraction winning, but there has been little fanfare for them really.  I take the point that the last semi may be the favoured one this year, because of the gap to the final but there has been little else to suggest Attraction are Plan A winners.

the thing with james is, people don't actually pick up the phone to vote for their second preferences. so getting loads of second prefs and very few 1sts in polling is a real indicator of a to qualify lay  imo.

also, the problem for magicians is they basically get to do one trick and that's it.

and we've seen all the tricks done before.

true, 5LL. soon as he gets in, you know what's gonna happen. so basically you're bored even if it's good, and there's no next bit to keep you interested. plus you don't trust it, because it's on telly and hidden.

someone doing 5 minutes of really quick street magic on one of the judges might work, but these big prop based one-offs are a bit doomed really.

now i've refreshed i've got 7. but 32 in play isn't bad for us little specials.

3 solo kid female singers in the final will cannabilise what little support they would have had.  Any of them will do well to top 3% in the final.

Had James not been quite so good looking I suspect his Like count would have been lower. I reckon the percentages between Alex, James, Shockarella and AJ+Chloe were very close indeed.

Francine Lewis will be an also-ran, this is very much between the Top 3 in the betting.

I felt sure they wouldn't want another kid singer going through but Asandra's voice seemed so much stronger tonight. To me anyway, and I'm no expert.

There was a fair bit of money for her to win from the beginning tonight. I think it was someone(s) who knew her performance or knew she had pimp. I laid her a lot to win, before her act which was a bit foolish, but I feel delighted to have beaten the insiders.

AJ + Chloe had the pimp Henry not Asanda.  Money could have been because the first two acts were singing acts and so it would've been logical to give her a late slot.  The money for the ballroom pair throughout the day was more telling I thought.

I agree with five leaves that Asanda started off very ropey, and it felt like they'd already decided they wanted her in the top 3 from the comments afterwards.  Interestingly, she was the biggest drifter in the market during the day so mebbe there aren't insiders after all and it's just people like me second guessing the producers, as it made little sense them wanting 3 female kid singers in the final.

I think you’re right Clyde. I’ve just played back the recording and the money for Asandra win only started piling on after the first two singer acts.

I thought AJ & Chloe would be their choice for qualifying with Francine, so that money may not be suspect either if others felt the same. I didn’t feel strongly enough to back them though.
