***BGT Semi 4***

wow, well done to biscuit boy

Wow, FB Likes completely off. Amazed he's 3rd!

go asanda

(or more)

damn

bloody james more couldn't get top3

My Francine stats better not be off, I piled into her as winner.

Thank fook for that.

The vote must have been close from 2nd to 5th.

I don't think they want biscuit boy

asanda 1.01

Both of these constestant are a giant who cares

not great news for Jack backers

They clearly don't want geeky boy, no.

In fact, all the winners tonight, 1st 2nd 3rd won't win.

good ere innit

I'm going to vote for the person who was on latest in the running order....

Simon said Asanda was best of the night

I'm amazed that Alex was 3rd, he really didn't make an impression on FB and I can't think of a reason why he would be any more exempt from the Likes than James.

oh god, look at that rack. I so would.

The 2 favoured acts through again.  Yawn.

alex behaving like a proper gent

Alex may have come second then

didnt go to public vote strange

Alex maybe even 2nd.

that was about francine, before anyone says anything.

Haha

el president fancies Cowell(nap)

Finally made some bloody profit on the BGT semis, £465, just another £1500 to make back.

Cowell surprised he was 2nd, so had to say how good he was

Lost back what I won last night here

Won a little here. Layed my AJ & C bet off at a profit and layed Alex

aa

busted!

about level but couldn't really be arsed tonight

piled into francine to win. lost some on james to qualify. had a bit of worry as laid alex to qual £100 @ 7.2

the grans must have been the fb absentees voting for alex

I played an absolute blinder in finding the value. But done my money.

Magic never works on this, even when a hunky guy does it. It's just dull

Not been a good week for me.  I am not sure why as thee judges have clearly got their favoured acts over the line one way or another so should be easy pickings...

that young girl that was put through there was very average, and the fact there are other young girls through to final, find that decision very strange by Cowell, especially when I was contemplating picking up some money there....Bastard

The acts performing early may as well not turn up....unlikely to be Top 3,and if you are you won't be put through.Alex and Jack & Cormac done very well all things considered.

I suspect so Henry. The dancers would have lost it with their routine. Alex the most gran friendly act bar them

i thought james would be 3rd and they would put him through over asanda. 1st idea was wrong, 2nd we'll never know. they've now got another average singer in the final.

I thought James might be 2nd

even tho I hate magic

the public must feel the same

actually asanda wasn't average, her performance was much better than her audition imo. but a bit freaky seeing an 11 year old act mature.

I didn't think James was much cop, and do quite like magic, but I was swayed by the facebook likes, twitter etc.

Basically, Attraction will win tomorrow, they'll be the bookies faves, effictviely this week has been terrible for value-hunters as the short-priced fave keeps winning.

Sorry PK, they've been pretty good so far. I'm making a note to check the percentage votes between Alex and James when they're released.

hope so dan

I think I've won every night. But only peanuts

BGT reject in pills suicide bid.

it was dj sexy scott. he was rubbish and they never tipped him as a star really, just had a laugh with him

* gay aerobics

If Attraction are on 2nd tomorrow with an Aliki pimp, will you still say the same, Dan?

Semi 5 market up

Aliki for me is a face among many for me, I didn't think her voice was great. Attraction will win easily for me.

for me for me for me, need to proofread.

I lost on Asanda, I was sure that they wouldn't want her in the final :/

for me Attraction had the best audition of all, with Aliki 2nd best.  I am surprised they are in the same semi.

attraction 1.1 for the win?

There probably is an element of that Henry, but I do wonder if they have done it to test Attraction's vote as much as anything.

Is Aliki really a big deal, there are ALWAYS, 'she's not just lucky to be auditioning, she's lucky to be alive' stories every bloody year. I couldn't care less.
I'll take any price on Attraction to win above 1.25

testing vote - i think that's over analyzing popking. itv just want big viewers for their saturday night.

Aliki had a great voice.  The song she sang is not easy to do well as Ella proved on XF last year.  The backstory is genuine (this time) and will help her connect especially if it's another emotional song.

She is far better than Faryl, Boyle or any other females that have been on this show IMO.

I can't see her beating Attraction tomorrow, but the vote splits may give TPTB a benchmark to work out if they can get Attraction beat come the final.

attraction we know will perform well. well i'm pretty sure we know. it will be a good test of aliki, but they're probably confident for her.

Jordan O'keefe wins tomorrow hope this helps

Any wildcard betting?
Joseph looks a cert with the dancers failing tonight

i don't think they want attraction beat. i think they want attraction for bgt7 winner.

Not from trap 2 Bex

haha

trap 2 is where they'll put him bex. hth

I dont rate aliki - female light opera voice and sang some real duff notes in many youtube clips I listened to

Jordan was great though

I would have expected them to be happy enough with Attraction winning, but there has been little fanfare for them really.  I take the point that the last semi may be the favoured one this year, because of the gap to the final but there has been little else to suggest Attraction are Plan A winners.

asanda 20/1 on HS. Should be 1000

oh to be a HS bookie

the thing with james is, people don't actually pick up the phone to vote for their second preferences. so getting loads of second prefs and very few 1sts in polling is a real indicator of a to qualify lay  imo.

also, the problem for magicians is they basically get to do one trick and that's it.

and we've seen all the tricks done before.

man escapes from a box. hmmm only seen that about 1000 times before

only 4 on my screen?

true, 5LL. soon as he gets in, you know what's gonna happen. so basically you're bored even if it's good, and there's no next bit to keep you interested. plus you don't trust it, because it's on telly and hidden.

someone doing 5 minutes of really quick street magic on one of the judges might work, but these big prop based one-offs are a bit doomed really.

now i've refreshed i've got 7. but 32 in play isn't bad for us little specials.

3 solo kid female singers in the final will cannabilise what little support they would have had.  Any of them will do well to top 3% in the final.

Had James not been quite so good looking I suspect his Like count would have been lower. I reckon the percentages between Alex, James, Shockarella and AJ+Chloe were very close indeed.

Francine Lewis will be an also-ran, this is very much between the Top 3 in the betting.

I felt sure they wouldn't want another kid singer going through but Asandra's voice seemed so much stronger tonight. To me anyway, and I'm no expert.

There was a fair bit of money for her to win from the beginning tonight. I think it was someone(s) who knew her performance or knew she had pimp. I laid her a lot to win, before her act which was a bit foolish, but I feel delighted to have beaten the insiders.

Insiders are not always a bad thing

n1 Henry. I thought she improved during the song but isn't 'cute' and I doubt came close to winning. She sounded like Vic Reeves at the start

tv polls nailing it again

AJ + Chloe had the pimp Henry not Asanda.  Money could have been because the first two acts were singing acts and so it would've been logical to give her a late slot.  The money for the ballroom pair throughout the day was more telling I thought.

I agree with five leaves that Asanda started off very ropey, and it felt like they'd already decided they wanted her in the top 3 from the comments afterwards.  Interestingly, she was the biggest drifter in the market during the day so mebbe there aren't insiders after all and it's just people like me second guessing the producers, as it made little sense them wanting 3 female kid singers in the final.

I think you’re right Clyde. I’ve just played back the recording and the money for Asandra win only started piling on after the first two singer acts.

I thought AJ & Chloe would be their choice for qualifying with Francine, so that money may not be suspect either if others felt the same. I didn’t feel strongly enough to back them though.
