Yep, France was favourite a couple of years ago, and came 15th each, and most years at least one sub 1.2 shot get turned over.

Backing them in Specials is often not a good thing. Of course, there are exceptions. I backed Louis Smith very short for SCD, but no way in Eurovision lol.

you can, ive backed several 1.08s etc that have lost recently. but im still in profit during that time.
depends how often you do it. if you never bet short odds-ons, then eurovision probably isnt the time to start i admit. |

@ 1.08 perhaps but you're still looking at a failure rate of 1 in 20 or less, to make it worthwhile.
