This doesn't make sense at all. Got to be inside money judging by how the market has completely changed shape in the last 24 hours.
By:
Either that or some (big) player, messing around with the lack of liquidity on these markets these days. But lot of money to mess around with!
By:
Mind you, takes a lot less to be the backer than the layer.
By:
But it's right across the board on the HS as well. OK, so the bookies are lemmings and follow what's going on here, but even so - they must have taken a few quid at the bigger prices as well.
By:
Why was no money laying her for eviction though??
By:
Lays £22 90/1, £28 70/1 loads in the 20's.
Had a back of £7 matched at 120/1 Jan13th that was to release some money for Chelsea manager market.Laid her in the eviction market last night made a nice profit. At my max on her now so just going to wait till Wednesday see what happens. |
By:
Big red then luckyman?
By:
13.0 just matched
By:
Yeah, but confident she won't win Every reality show i get involved in i say i'm not going to do that again.
But when she dropped down into the 20's i couldn't help myself.Must admit i'm sick now she is 15/16's. Got a nice green on Rylan, Speidi and small on Razor. |
By:
Be interesting to know if anyone has backed her, just because her price has crashed
![]() |
By:
Sure there's plenty of that going on too Cider... VC reporting Scouse support, but whatever it is, the last of the 16s has gone on HS now as well.
By:
if she gets a task in the next 24 hours..she'll be single figures
![]() |
By:
Meanwhile Speidi into 7-1 on bf.
By:
I'm pretty sure the Hs just adjust according to betfair to stop arbing. The lemmings think it's insider info and don't want to miss out
Meanwhile someone is quietly making his way round the shops placing bets on Claire top female, who should be long odds on |
By:
If she wins this there should be a stewards!

laid a 1k on her last night at 22s but bought half back at 25/1 on the HS so a good green. Never known a market like this and its spooking me. 4 figure red on speidi as I just assumed they couldn't win as per yank history; lesson learned about not greening up at big odds. Tempted to basically level up rylan and speidi and look to get out unscathed.
Anyone running with a speidi red? When I said they would trade at sub 20s again (should have backed then) GB said he would carry on laying them for one. |
By:
The voting is too expensive and the move started too early for it to be anything like a systematic betting coup. You'd hardly pick an event with such a strong favourite either.
By:
Whatever, Rylan become value and I've gotten involved.
By:
If the big backer had picked spiedi it would have been interesting....they are topping most polls, so could have been odds on by now, from 70's!
By:
GB remember you saying that about Speidi going Sub 20's again, and i took advantage.
By:
Glad someone did lucky. I was certain of it but never backed. Wonder how low GB was laying them at? Just backed them now. Just can't get my head around it all. HG says tricia tailed off but look at her price.
By:
In the words of Bruce Springsteen "Someday we'll look back on this and it will all seem funny"
Thats what i'm hoping! |
By:
never really lost on a "proper" special and don't want to start now. Just want it over and to move onto Splash and DOI which are looking good for me...and AI if there is any liquidity on here.
By:
Boys! Stop panicking!
When the Tricia backer started his games, there was reason for us to assume a good edit that night, or the following night. Nothing happened on either show. Nothing! You saw it, I saw it. Nothing. So we know it`s not driven by what she is doing in the house. Indeed, what she`s doing in the house has approval ratings of about 3%! The other usual reason for such a move would be someone knowing she has been storming the actual vote. Seeing as how she had not been involved in any vote, we can also write off that explanation. So, what are we left with ? NOTHING! |
By:
Tricia not my problem; good green for peanuts...its whether the Golden Rule re Speidi holds true. I think it will and Rylan will p1ss it.
By:
To be honest by Friday i will properly start to reduce my deficit on her just hoping she will be a lot bigger then 14/1.Or even better she goes on Wednesday.Either way if she wins it will be a big loss for me.
But at these prices she looks a great lay, for fooksake she is bottom of nearly every poll. |
By:
So you backed her and laid her to leave a big red?
By:
The one fly in the ointment is that the show is scripted now. This is less predictable than hm’s just being themselves.
By:
Direction to actress Tricia Penrose: Go to Speidi and say, with exasperation, that you just can’t take their negativity any more and you want them to just chill out and be sociable. Then break down in tears.
Direction to actors Speidi: With verbal viciousness attack “Tricia”. Continue attacks on Tricia for next 4 days. |
By:
Direction to Speidi: "Be tvvats for the first 2 weeks then pretend to be nice and contrite"
Speidi to Director: "That was our game plan anyway you thick Brit" |
By:
She's only gone to max 8% so it appears more dramatic than it really is. Pretty irrelevant unless you're a double digit odds-on backer, which I'm not.
The Rylan laying is more significant and it pushed the price out to something that I became interested in. |
By:
To account for the backers` actions, such a scenario would, presumably, have to have been arranged on, or before, Monday gone. Bearing in mind she was odds-on to go last night, I am comfortable that even if, against all logic, TPTB try something, she hasn`t got it in her to overcome such a low current.approval rating
By:
^ that is assuming the Rylan laying and Tricia backing don't accelerate again tonight.
By:
^ to Cider's post

By:
Polls may be meaningless in a scripted show headed by a reality ****. I don’t think viewers’ allegiances are strong.
(That’s not to say go against the polls though). |

Trish layers beware. Week ago contacted by a big player. Done his sums and voting levels really low and ripe for a coordinated campaign. Wouldn't say who was the chosen one unless I agreed. I declined, but it's clear that he's got a decent network to rattle 1000 votes each and obvious who chosen one is now.
