Laddies haven't settled it for me yet either but I assumed it's cos they're going to be giving me quite a few £££s. Normally they're speedy, I suspect the DH is the issue.

So, if the BBC are not realeasing voting figures there is not an official second or third. Therefore markets 1-2 Forecast, Runner Up, and Third Place should be voided (according to Betfair`s market rules).
Top Female should be setlled as a dead heat because Kimberley and Denise has progressed equally. Anyone agree?

it is beyond ridiculous that we know everyone's finishing position bar who came 3rd and who was runner up.  We don't even learn who top female is.

So if you back odds on and its a tie you lose? e.g. 200 on at 1.2 = 100 @ 1.2 = 120 back?

personally happy if 1v2 void on here as small green with kim and a bit larger red dvo. HS already paid me for 1v2 kim so bad luck for some is good luck for others I guess.

Just had a pleasant chat with Ladbrokes trying to get my S/F bet settled,and attempted to point them in the direction of the BBC website.It seems they expect the BBC to ring them confirming the news .

No wonder we take the HS to the cleaners ....still no excuse for not settling Louis in the o/r which they haven't yet.

The BBC made great play of the fact that ONLY the general public would decide the SCD Final Results. It's inconceivable that, on that basis, Kim and DVO had exactly the same number of public votes, and someone is telling porkies or being disingenuous by saying they're joint 2nd. We know who was 14th, 13th, 12th, 11th, 10th, 9th, 8th, 7th, 6th, 5th, 4th, and 1st. What's the great secret about 2nd and 3rd? I voted throughout for Kim and I want to know where she finished. Come on BBC, all you're doing is reinforcing the public view that you're incompetent and incapable of taking rational editorial decisions.

If the BBC take the view that the number of votes cast settles who wins the contest, but the two contestants left are joint runners up irrespectively of votes cast, then knowing who got the most votes between Kim and DVO is irrelevant.
Even if votes are released and kim got the 2nd highest you should still be paid out on DVO under dead heat rules as there is no 3rd place in the contest under the rules that the BBC are using to run the contest.
It's a BBC event their rules must apply.

Well, I backed Kim and layed DVO and have ended up with a loss on Kim, DVO and Dani. How can that be right? What a shambles all round. Don't expect me to use these markets again and I certainly won't be giving those ****s at the BBC another penny.

As things stand, Spoils have settled incorrectly. They've been given as joint runners-up. You would win any IBAS case, seeking settlement on Denise as a dead-heat TF winner at least. WH already paid out in full, Lou, on both straight forecasts. SJ paid out in full on Denise TF.

I wonder why they would pay out in full though when it's a dead heat.  You could argue all day Kimberley was second ........... or DVO was second.  Why would a bookie pay out a full stake on either I don't get it?

I read that.  If this guy can be trusted then it looks like Kimberlet second.  Still don't understand why BBC don't say.  How hard is it to write half a dozen words tpo let us know the order.  As someone said we know who went every week, we know the winner and the 4th even so why not 2nd and 3rd?
