Spot on squares - all my intuition having followed these shows for so long said James got the mother of all bounces after his sing-off with Ella & the ramping of TCO was very apparent after that.

Padd's Final peak under 14 million would have been good if done by a bookie that still lays bets.

An average audience of 10.9 million peaking with over 12.5 million means it's salvageable and with Cowell's return will be around for a few more years yet.
