Thought using 1 thread from now on would be better than having to look through 3 to 5 different threads.....hence why it's up early

Everyone seems to be green on James now... funny that
![]() |
By:
I was green on James long long ago since week 1 or 2.
By:
Yes. Amazing

I'm NOT green on James. Nor will I be. Feck him!
By:
They are fcked off I sold them so much. They used to have pleasant green valleys and herds of cattle
By:
Would you go green if James's odds drift to 3 ?
By:
Me, Ski? No. Max red since week 2. I'm refusing to back him on principle.
By:
Ok good luck, pray he leaves for 3rd place.
By:
You don't like tattoos Tim?
By:
Gawd. He was 13 in week 2

You don't like tattoos Tim? How'd you guess? I have enough green on the other two to back him, but the market still says he doesn't win, and who am I to disagree? |
By:
que?
The market tells me cashed has piled on James all week, even when it initially seemed to think Jahmene was better last weekend |
By:
Currently 47% chance of him winning, 53% chance of happy days for me
By:
100% chance of me being happy...but I guess I'm easily pleased

Thora Hird calling round?

By:
A very strange way of looking at things Tim.

Betting and principles should be strangers to each other tim.....

I am red on James too - I don't see how he can possibly win a mainstream Saturday night ITV show against more voter friendly contenders, and more traditional vocalists.
By:
Popking James has some very voter friendly songs.
By:
By:
I have seen the (unconfirmed) songs, and they are a slight worry although I am hoping Feeling Good is sang like Muse in which case it will be another "Don't Speak" mauling. I think at best he comes 2nd to Jahmene, and more likely 3rd.
By:
Problem is he will have been drilled not to grimace, growl or rap.
By:
Even the Muse version is comfortably their most commercial outing ever
I'd expect James to be halfway between Buble and Muse |
By:
The Gareth VS Will thing is not a good comparison. Will Young was very voter friendly and nothing like James IMO, who is more like Aiden Grimshaw if we're making past contestants comparisons.
By:
you wont see James tatts tonight Tim
He's wearing the emperors new clothes ![]() |
By:
Apparently not pop, Aiden didn't make the final
By:
Exactly, and he was better than James for me.
By:
lol. You missed his wobbly vocals then
By:
Sounds a nonsense to me, Aiden never scored much more than 8% in the vote iirc
This guy clearly has far more appeal |
By:
Other than the car crash that was Don't Dream It's Over, I thought he was better than Matt Cardle for sure. Not a more likely winner though, which is the difference.
By:
Funnily enough I'd compare James to Cardie, but a more humble, likeable version
By:
And yodelling aside, a lot more talented
By:
When we see the polling for James in the early weeks, I expect it will be similar too - if not worse than - Aiden.
By:
So was Burke, Leona etc
Polling now means more |
By:
I liked Aiden. Didn't he do one song in a straight jacket
They thought he was shy and cuddly after singing his audition with his eyes closed but he later revealed to be a bit of a nutter. |
