Heavy night last night.SillySilly

Plenty of water and had a power nap.CoolCool

Can see my money for Jah was matched @ 2.6 while i was sleeping @ 2pmLaughLaughLaugh

Can see my lay of James @2.14ish was matched.

Can see Maloney drifting because people can't hold on to their nerves until later.

Just saw Jah dropped to 2.3 from 2.48 just when i was about to dump some cash on @ 2.48.

Jah and James equal green.

Chris x3 more.

Chris making it to the final two would be the best thing since the invention of the wheel.CrazyCrazy

Good luck to everyone. One more weekend of this dross ''musical'' show then back on the golf forum.

Me, Ski? No. Max red since week 2. I'm refusing to back him on principle.

How'd you guess?

I have enough green on the other two to back him, but the market still says he doesn't win, and who am I to disagree?
By:

que?

The market tells me cashed has piled on James all week, even when it initially seemed to think Jahmene was better last weekend

Currently 47% chance of him winning, 53% chance of happy days for me

I am red on James too - I don't see how he can possibly win a mainstream Saturday night ITV show against more voter friendly contenders, and more traditional vocalists.

Popking James has some very voter friendly songs.

Refer to Gareth Gates vs Will Young

10 bloody years ago

I have seen the (unconfirmed) songs, and they are a slight worry although I am hoping Feeling Good is sang like Muse in which case it will be another "Don't Speak" mauling.  I think at best he comes 2nd to Jahmene, and more likely 3rd.

Problem is he will have been drilled not to grimace, growl or rap.
By:
GeorgeBrush
When: 08 Dec 12 17:07
Even the Muse version is comfortably their most commercial outing ever

I'd expect James to be halfway between Buble and Muse

The Gareth VS Will thing is not a good comparison.  Will Young was very voter friendly and nothing like James IMO, who is more like Aiden Grimshaw if we're making past contestants comparisons.

you wont see James tatts tonight Tim

He's wearing the emperors new clothes Wink

Apparently not pop, Aiden didn't make the final
By:

When: 08 Dec 12 17:08
Exactly, and he was better than James for me.
By:
GeorgeBrush
When: 08 Dec 12 17:09
lol. You missed his wobbly vocals then
By:
GeorgeBrush
When: 08 Dec 12 17:10
Sounds a nonsense to me, Aiden never scored much more than 8% in the vote iirc

This guy clearly has far more appeal

Other than the car crash that was Don't Dream It's Over, I thought he was better than Matt Cardle for sure.  Not a more likely winner though, which is the difference.
By:
GeorgeBrush
When: 08 Dec 12 17:10
Funnily enough I'd compare James to Cardie, but a more humble, likeable version
By:
GeorgeBrush
When: 08 Dec 12 17:11
And yodelling aside, a lot more talented

When we see the polling for James in the early weeks, I expect it will be similar too - if not worse than - Aiden.
By:

When: 08 Dec 12 17:13
So was Burke, Leona etc

Polling now means more

I liked Aiden. Didn't he do one song in a straight jacket Laugh They thought he was shy and cuddly after singing his audition with his eyes closed but he later revealed to be a bit of a nutter.
