As someone else stated before (and you chose to ignore hmmmmm) the actual onus should be on you to prove they are not correct. Will be hard with every scrap of evidence backing up their story but why don't you have a go! |

nobody can prove the star info until vote numbers are released at the end of the series. until then each person can use the info however the choose to. i choose to believe it as i think it's very likely to be true. each to their own. |

You see that's more like it. Gun at my head I would probably believe it but to take it as almost 100% certain and base all your bets round it is a very dodgy approach I think. |

Lou I'd have it as about 95% certain and I'm definitely basing the majority of my betting investment around it. am very comfortable with this approach.

The 5% of doubt would be with regard to the inferred percentages relating to Chris's lead. I think that this has been over-stated. |

Thing is though Dizzy if it were true (and it may well be of course) then why exaggerate his percentage lead in their story? It's either all true or all not true isn't it?

The more interesting question in these days of the Leveson Inquiry etc, is how they manage to get access to the voting figures every year and whether they are profiting personally by doing so.

That's exactly what I mean. It looks very very good info but what if next year we all 'back' accordingly and it's wrong somehow. That's what I said all along just be a bit cautious but again on this occasion it was spot on. |

Those of us who follow The Star slavishly have benefitted, what, 10?, 15? times. If/when it get's it wrong, we can afford to take a hit.
