Jahmene sob story was surely pulled out to get MK1 and Baloney in the b2. If he's topping the votes behind Baloney then it's a concern. Fact is he was at Sam L Jacksons event other night too, bound to get the producers wanting him to go very far.

I am expecting the drift to come when they are down to 4 contestants and the support for James, UJ and Jahmene/whoever looks more solid

Note One Direction's vote share throughout, they were a much slicker operation. Union J are arguably better singers but IMO they're pushed out of the market anyway by One Direction themselves. I won't be placing a penny on Union J.

Not a bad thing at all that he's supposedly doing well in the votes but I do tend to take these things with a pinch of salt.  I know people here would say that The Daily Star have a great record with their 'leaks' and I'm sure that must be true but Baloney topping the vote?  If they'd have said Ella, Jahmene, one of the boybands even I'd have taken it on board a bit more perhaps ......... but Baloney?

My main interest is the eliminations, I cant be bothered second guessing a production team over 12 weeks when i can profit, hopefully, weekly without being influenced by my outright

Apparently the Star have never been wrong with X Factor though so looks very solid. Looks very good as I think Jahmene has more to offer.

I've layed off 10% of my stake, want to lay more off but not going to happen, but the Daily Star has got me bricking myself and surprised others are very cool calm and composed especially with Adele vibes coming at Ella most weeks and others saying she's very dull. Weekly evictions much more fun though then outright, definitely.

A lot of us on here week one thought Baloney would poll very well when he sung. Very 'x factor' friendly. It was him being invisible on traditional measures that put us off the scent, then he was given the 'treatment' week 2.

It is clear why he is getting the 'treatment' now.

My position is this: Jahmene can not win this show. The second he's booted off, hindsight will kick in and it'll be obvious why he went. George I still think everyone's overeacting to this 'Daily Star' thing.  It just seems all or nothing to me.  If it's true then yes why isn't Ella doing so well with the votes.  Now I know they have a good record fair enough but this time if they've just made it up or been misinformed somehow then you'll probably find Ella is topping the votes and Baloney is in trouble soon.

With Ella perceived by most to be a strong favourite to win the show,there possibly isn't much incentive to pick up the phone and vote at this stage,different perhaps to clicking a mouse on an online poll where she has comfortable leads.

I agree yes although just a touch whenever I look at the polls the pack are closing a little.

I don't think she's a certainty like some on here Lou,although she's by far the most likely IMO.Is 1.86 the right price? To be perfectly honest I don't think it's far off....not a backing or laying price for me.

True mate...Keep backing over priced selections and everything works out in the long run...as you say,can't win them all.

Luckily I half accepted the Star leak and layed Baloney in both markets so still made money but only small.

Be interesting for next week again although I will still be in Vegas, hopefully I wont have streaming problems next week!
