I thought it might be him Hems. Never nice to see someone do their nuts. Unless it's one of the idiots on here Wink
Daniel seems a decent guy.

did UJ say they had been rehearsing their CLub Classic like mad already whereas others only had a vague idea of what they were doing and some didn't really know what the theme was?

That was whilst they were singing? Can't believe they were the same price at deadlock.

Always a risky stratergy and not one for me, to lump on the 'sure things' in these markets. Eventually you'll get bitten,  however shrewd you are and Daniel knows his stuff.

How could he be certain that District 3 were going to go though? Makes no sense. What was his reasoning?

I'm much more like jr and play the cautious game.

I said at the time 1.4 seemed a great price to go green, the fact it went into 1.1 meant I should have won loads but when there is so much money it's usually right so I didn't lay heavy :(

he's always thought they'd go against anyone to clear the way for UJ.

£80k was traded, so £40k backed on District 3, hope too much wasn't him. I guess he bet alot at around 1.3.

I consider it one of the bigger sing-off shocks I've seen that D3 survived. So have quite a lot of sympathy with those who backed them to go. Especially as their vocals were all over the place.

I was shocked too, even at deadlock.

I think backing them is probably profitable, but I would go mad if I lost backing heavy at a short price. Not saying it's bad long term, probably good, but a big loss in the short term would hurt too much.

many would have thought barlow can't be allowed to lose two in a row, and there was one boyband to many in the comp, singing does not come in to it

To go straight out from pimp is quite an achievement for mel

Yeah, that's what I thought too. And with that amount of money I thought it was a done deal.

I think you have to say that if Melanie had delivered, and done a Ruth Lorenzo or similar, I don't think Tulisa would have been able to save D3 and keep face.

Not after timing here as I constantly say this.....to always rely on past trends, and not treat each individual bet as just that,an individual bet is madness.Backing on running order with the voting change,or first in the sing off as they usually perish is just lazy IMO.

the script has to be read out Fink...they just grin and bear it

The answer's pretty obvious. There is no pimp slot anymore.

Amazing GB. I'm glad I couldn't get more on Mel for top oldster.
My baldie account won't open, which saved me. Will have to ring them tomorrow

I don't think there is a script. Never have.

The running order really doesn't matter anymore. It's massively over stated. Maloney went 4/1 into 6/4 on the basis of it. He actually delivered a good song compared to the general competition. I must admit I backed him heavy at the books though, forgot about that :(
By:

When: 14 Oct 12 22:04
Because if there is no pimp spot it means people are voting before it and I'm not convinced of that in great numbers.

There's definitely a script. It's just even the shrewdest watchers are going to misread it sometimes

I thought 2 saves for D3 meant it was scripted for 2 saves for Mel and her saved on deadlock, so BIG SHOCK WOW moment. Got that very wrong. Thankfully the prices weren't the other way round ow I'd have lost a lot.

It's more accurate to say that TPTB can no longer be sure what they're doing with the running order. There's no doubt in my mind that Saturday's show was front-loaded on purpose, but it could have been the late start that affected it. I wonder how much of the audience switched off after Ella?

I was trying to back mel on laddies but wasn't working when I clicked bet. Didn't say suspended like it usually does. Got on elsewhere thank goodness.
