It is such a futile debate.
Anybody couped-up in a house with cameras 24/7, microphones on at all times, living cheek-by-jowl with 15 other people would go stir crazy at some point. The raison d'etre of Big Brother is to elicit fustration, anger, exasperation, sexual tension, friendships and dislikes from house mates. I suspect viewer tolerance of expressions of any of the above emotions in the diary room is high, particularly if we are shown that there are valid reasons for those emotions. Showing emotion does not necessarily mean a HM will lose the public's support, but a HM that that is incapable of showing emotion will never win their support. |

I have reduced my green on Luke over the past few days. At this stage I think he could win, but I suspect if you put a gun to my head, I would say he is more likely to finish in the places.
Luke is a decent bloke, but he can come across as a bit of wet weekend at times. It may well be that in positive vote with (say) five house mates going into the final, a candidate who elicits stronger feelings may win through. Ask me at the moment who the final five will be and I'd say Luke A, Lauren, Deana, Sara and Scott. Doubtless it will be different this time next week. |

Anyone that could articulate why bad things were happening to the perpetrators and why they should stop would win this series. But Adam (though I like him far more) and Luke A are incapable. Lauren just moans. Deana the victim of it is the only one really fighting

I don't know about you guys, but it appears to me that there are three scenarios.
The first is that nothing in the house really changes and we just trundle through to the end with the current alliances/friendships/dislikes. The second scenario is that the two 'groups' (call them insiders and outsiders)merge - as may well happen as the numbers fall and people like Conor get the boot. The third scenario is that there is a game-changer. I don't know what it could be, but one HM does some so astonishingly good or bad and there is reaction and fall-out. Views? |

Scenario 2 most likely for me, perhaps allowing runs for people like Ash and Sara. And Adam being pretty friendly with everyone may benefit

Unless a load of newbs come in and make a big difference, I guess a mixture of 1 and 2 with there being an inevitable "merge" with fewer HMs although there are always going to be people who don't like each other as well as people who generally get along but fall out every now and then because of the circumstances they are living in - just like any family/group of people who live (or even work) together.

I agree with all the above. Implicitly, I also agree that if scenario three comes into play then it is most likely to revolve around Arron. It may not happen, it may well be the final nail in Arron's coffin, it could be a match winner for Arron himself or a match winner for another HM caught in the fall-out. |

He's a jolly japester. These characters have usually been celebrated. I think because his partner in crime is Conor he is not. But that may change. it was hilarious when they were running about with Scott's statue. Don't tell DS though

As a viewer I like Arron because he makes things happen. However, all the stuff about him lying (and it was said by more than one HM) cannot play well.
The upshot is that to win he needs a 'Road to Damascus' moment. I am far from sure he has it in him, but I'm always prepared to be surprised. However, how AN Other house mate reacts/stands up to something he does, could be crucial. Then again, I am probably over-thinking. |

Possibly very difficult for newbs to be anything other than "damaging" (such as Bea, Ginger Tim, Noireen's BF!!) because of the "knowledge" they have gained from being "outside"??

He said, “When Luke S brought us our batteries this morning, he came into our area. I checked with Big Brother and it’s a punishable offence.” The Blues have decided not to tell the Greens about the slip up and as the kitchen dwellers become increasingly smug, chances of the Blues sharing anything with them are becoming increasingly unlikely. |
