Tom, Danny and Jessie were on Chris Moyles this morning and as usual only Tom impressed.

They told us that all four will sing an oriiginal cover (oxymoron) and then sing a duet with their mentor.

One will then leave the show and the final 3 will sing their favourite song they have performed so far.

So only two songs for Vince then! Wink

Leanne answering questions on The Voice UK Facebook at 4.00

Tellymix since yesterday, 17:42

Bo 47
Tyler 32
Leanne 20
Vince 19

So
Bo 40%
Tyler 27%
Leanne 17%
Vince 16%

If Vince is eliminated, where do his fans break if at all?
Small numbers. My checks...

Tyler 39%
Bo 28%
Leanne 22%
DK 11%

Doesn't look like Tyler catches up without a swing during the show...

I think Leanne done her Facebook session yesterday and it's Bo's turn today.

As for Leanne doing something different,I hope it's in the duet rather than the individual number. No need to change style IMO ,crack out another strong vocal ballad is her best option.I share squares reservations about how a slightly more raucous performance could work out,as she didn't really perform the Pink track too well.

As for repeat performance Tyler Higher Love for sure,Bo Running Up That Hill I agree with also,Leanne anything except the Pink track (maybe If I Was A Boy from the audition) and Vince maybe Like A Virgin?

You've still got to consider that Leanne is the only one who can pull off a "Big" vocal performance out of those 4.

Leanne cannot have been to far off topping the vote last week although I feel she was probably second to Bo.

It really depends on how many 'new' viewers the show gets.  Bo is more of an acquired taste where as Leanne when she lets rip will instantly impress the casual watcher.

Still have a horrible feeling they will stitch up Leanne but I cannot figure out how she is longer in the betting than Vince, he won the weakest group where his only competition was just not punter friendly and all the polls show he has little support.  Add in the factthat he is hardly going to impress any stray viewers who tune in for the final and I think he is almost certain to finish 4th.

If someone put up a market and offered over evens for him to finish 4th which judging by the outright they would I would pile on as much as I possibly could!

I was thinking the same HF.
However much they stitch Leanne up, as the only MOR singer left I can't see her being 1st out

You could always sell him at 26 on the spreads with SpIn (50,30,20,10)?

from tmix:

The Voice UK star Tyler James has reportedly been left upset after being asked to sing an Amy Winehouse song for the final.

Reveal magazine claim that Tyler, Will.i.am’s last remaining finalist, has refused to perform one of Amy’s tracks on Saturday night.

No secret has been made about Tyler’s close relationship with the late singer, but it seems even he’s getting fed up of all the references.

A source told the magazine: “Tyler was really upset about it.

“He doesn’t want the continued ‘Oh, he’s Amy’s mate’ references, and doesn’t want to sing one of her songs.”

The supposed insider added: “It’s less than a year since she died, so it’s still very raw for him and it’s too much of him to cope with.”

Plus points for Leanne:

She has perhaps been a little "invisible" in earlier rounds - singing positions, more emphasis on other team members, etc.  Now she has "knocked out" Ruth all eyes will be on her, viewers will sit up and take notice.

Vocally, I think she is quite difficult to "stitch up" as she is generally competent and capable and likely to do a good job, if not an outstanding one.

That said,  she is a lot easier to stitch up in styling, VT, being called safe, old fashioned, one dimensional, etc., similar to the way Aleks and Max were binned.  Although if they went too far (and they weren't too OTT with A & M) it could help the votes.

Wonder if they will start the vote again when the first one goes? Guess it will depend on who is leading the vote at that point.

There isn't much on twitter about the voice which suggests low viewing figures again. I wouldn't read too much re tmix poll and twitter re Leanne. Her vote I think will be almost invisible on the interweb.

For me,it`s not so much a `love for Leanne`, nore a case of believing her price, win or lose, is too big. And, in a not particularly liquid market, if  all the shrewdies on here believe Vince is next out, why is the feckers price so stubbornly refusing to drift?
By:
TheMadness
When: 31 May 12 21:16
The only thing keeping Leanne's price out is the strong probability that they will do everything to stitch her up in the final. The polls are meaningless imo. Ruth was way ahead of Leanne in the pre-show polls.

with three songs to sing running order not quite so critical, and they may not stitch her up.
they should for the good of the show but the prods are clueless at the bbcLaugh

There is a direct correlation between my "love" for Leanne, and the amount of money she wins me if successful (although she has come across as very pleasant).

The Vince price question is an interesting one.My guess is that most people viewed him as an unlikely winner at the outset, layed  accordingly, and are somewhere near their maximum red figure on him now. Some will choose to let it ride, some will back him through gritted teeth but I suspect few wish to lay him again, even though they feel the price is wrong.....Fearful perhaps of a Gary Wiltshire,Fujiyama Crest moment.

Most people on here probably felt the same about Bo's chances initially.Iirc, only one person was interested in backing her,(before she had actually appeared on the programme)but unlike Vince,it seems some changed their opinion at the semi final stage. With the demise of the two jollies,Ruth and J1zz,those people are in a healthy position.

I think this final is a fascinating betting heat. The general consensus of opinion seems to be that Bo is a worthy favourite,Vince is underpriced,Leanne is overpriced and Tyler divides opinion. When the song choices are revealed tomorrow we may have a better idea of where we stand.....or maybe not!

The Sun article on her today has to be seen to be believed.Huge double page spread, covering everything from her terminally I'll mum, overdosing,Traumatic Stress Disorder,re-hab,the estranged relationship with her dad etc.

My favourite line is "I even worked as a receptionist at Warner Brothers in London - I did all kinds of sh1tty jobs"

I don't believe it's right to criticise someone just because they have had the good fortune to have a priveliged upbringing, but to try to suggest that in some way she has had a tough life when the reality is totally the opposite I find vomit inducing.

but it's wrong to equate having a good/happy life is all down to whether you come from money or not.

Look at how many kids of the really rich/celebrities have tragic lives.  A lot of self worth/feeling good when you are growing up is from having time and attention lavished on you. If parents are too busy working, being superstars, being self obsessed or whatever to have the time for their kids . . .

Of course having money is no guarantee of happiness,it does however make dealing with certain adversities easier. My best mate had to deal with his addiction without the luxury of a two month stay in an Arizona rehab clinic...ultimately it cost him his marriage and his kids.Having a family member terminally ill is horrific....I imagine all of us have suffered this at som point in our life.Whether we would choose to publicise this whilst trying to win a reality show is debatable.

I'm completely with Hemsby on this.

There is a dignified way to deal with these things and that is not the route that Bo is taking.

I read the Sun article today and I nearly puked as well.  Would love to see the face of someone who cleans toilets or works in McDonalds reading the bit when she says working as a receptionist in Warner Brothers is a **** job.

She is easily my second largest green but on a personal level I really dont want her to win!
