Ed Sheeran will go the same way as so many other acts who have received huge fanfare at Brits and shortly afterwards their career has nose-dived down the toilet - Mumford & Sons and The Darkness springing to mind.
I must be getting old cos all these pop acts sound so, so bland to me. It's like the entire event is this awful homogenized, Photo-shopped, corporate backslap. Maybe it always was but at least there was some spontaneity back in the day. |
