Ooh I do hope so. Absolutely awful. In the history of X Factor only Jedward and Wagner worse than him.

All pie in the sky but if they did replace him then The Risk got lowest votes which means Johnny beat them so if anyone should come back it's only fair it's him isn't it.

because he was the last out, and similar has happened before on AI so a precedent has been set.

Only difference is Amelia would be bypassing about five contestants plus the other three who also went out at her same stage whereas Johnny was the last one out. |

altho Darius was brought back into PI to replace Rik Waller when he had been 3rd in Rik's heat, rather than the previous eliminated contestant being brought back.

More chance of them bringing in one of those back who failed at the judges houses IMO, than those who have made the finals and been kicked out.

There's so much Amelia-hope in the market, though those who got on at 800+ might do pretty well out of this story.
Maybe TPTB will settle for a 2-way final? Would probably get more interest in the week running up to it. |

Fair enough we're all speculating (and believing The Sun story in the first place!) so we'll have to see. More logical to me though to let the last one out have a lifeline. |

completely pointless bringing Johnny back. He was in the bottom 3, so is clearly less popular than several others. Putting in someone at this stage may be seen as giving them an unfair advantage, but at least they haven't already been beaten (unlike Johnny) and they will still have several acts to beat to win.

The scrutiny they are under from Ofcom and the media/public they can't bring anyone back. Would be seen as grossly unfair.
They must have been backed into a corner to get rid of Frankie. Might be drug-taking in the house or something similar. |

Johnny would make sense and be fair, but given the effort they took to get rid, I guess they might have a sing off between him and The Risk

Way I look at it is you can make a claim for carrying on without him, you could say bring in an Amelia /2 Shoes/ James/ Jonjo but The Risk were fair and squarly beat by Johnny so can't see how they can possibly come back. Thoughts?

I'd say the 1st 4 would be unfair, as would the the risk. Johnny would be the only fair thing to do, but when did fairness come into the X Factor?

The PTB went to such lengths to axe Johnny that I'd be staggered if they brought him back. That said, they may have no other choice; losing an act now would throw the whole series out of kilter.
