Missed the 40s fll but had 40 on at 25/1 last night. I assume you are saying Portugal will vote for Spain? If so I will lay Spain nil point

Wow is that really the jolly

I did mean they'll give Spain 12pts, but they actually gave them nowt last year.
It was a very dull nothing sort of song tho and yet did get 12 from France & Crotia |
By:
France normally give Spain good points, more so than Portugal I believe.
By:
Does anyone have a link to the entrants so far (for someone who pays income tax
) cheers. |
By:
I'm more bullish about it's chances than Bex, but some decent points.
I certainy don't believe it's as universal as Fairytale. I'm glad I was able to turn it green last night when it was picked tho. I was hoping they'd pick that pick that scary blonde bloke |
By:
I assume Sweden has many voting allies, a la Azer last year. It needs them
![]() |
By:
The easiest way to go through them would be to go to the 'pre-chart' on this site and then just youtube each country
http://www.kolumbus.fi/jarpen/ btw top 10 and top 4 markets are up |
By:
Waterline would be a possible winning song in the right hands. Pity it isn't!
By:
Cheers fll. Time to start getting involved.
By:
oh, it was France & Portugal who gave Spain 12 last year. That wiki table is a pain to read

Spain is much more like France....

spain is ok but it just seems to go nowhere. My only other green at the moment though. Son is home from college next week and then I'm away for a week but after that son and Mrs B will be forced to listen to all the favs and give their scores as usual. Try this site Cider. .http://songforeurope.wordpress.com/2012/03/10/euphoria-in-sweden-loreen-wins-melodifestivalen-2012/

Spain goes somewhere. It just depends if like me, you'd like to go there.

The Grannies won their final quite easily from Bilan. Does that mean it is a Russian thing or has crossover? As above I guess i will have to get it on board but I suspect it will drift as the joke wears off. If it wins Joe Dolce can represent us next year. I guess Jordi showed these one offs can win.
By:
Jordi?
By:
Bilan was dreadful tho. He spent more time looking at the camera, than he did the young woman he was supposed to be in love with.
By:
Weren't jordi the heavy metal monsters? didn't rate their song but as a piece of pure theatre it worked on the night. just saying the grannies might tap into the same vein.
By:
LOL Lordi.
I don't think they would have won with juries. |
By:
yeah Lordi...why can't someone invent Google?
. Hope you are right re juries not having it. I said same earlier. ESC would lose credibility for me but gawd knows what viewers might do. Maybe I'm just being pompous and i will get caught up in the moment on the night. For something so apparently simple and organic I suspect there are a lot of astute brains behind the grannies. |
By:
lots of 50/1 on lordi

By:
you on the grannies then gresty?
![]() |
By:
as i have said previously...Greece (hopefully) represented by a Kelly Brook lookalike with an unpronouncable name, singing 'Aphrodisiac' is my one and only bet on this years event, got £50 on @36.
it will, by the way be the 'fav' come raceday and having just seen the Sweden song...i have no worries regarding that entry...remind anyone else of KATE BUSH ? |
By:
I reckon it's Claudia Winkleman doing an impression of Kate Bush.
As for Greece. Those pink shorts are rather captivating. They just need to be skimpier imo |
By:
still evaluting george as im a late starter...backed and layed the swedes but can't be having those ruskie gilf, One or two nations efforts are to be kept under my ever expanding belly for the time being

By:
Yeah same here gresty. Not even got my ESC head on yet but fortunately I got into sweden early enough to put me in a good position. Just wish i had listened to it a second time when it was winning its heat in Melodifestivalen and I'd have been in at really good odds.
By:
Are the crazy Moldovans one of them gresty?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MvmT3HALWg&feature=player_embedded No fooking chance but I nearly always love their songs. |
By:
shouldn't be long until some familiar ESC posters reappear. Melv aka Mr Youtube will obviously go for Sweden or Russia on youtube hits but what dirge will Mr Sunshinehead go for?
![]() Funkypunk ? god knows I have even unblocked him just to find out ![]() |

UL bexley, you're just missed the lovely Chemmy on TM - don't forget the +1 if you're missing her already.

Squares goddamit if I never see or hear from her ever again I'll still have the mental scars. Nice girl tho'

A rare contestant where on the intro show on This Morning she was incredibly annoying, then got progressively worse on the show itself

I didn't mind her so much now she's gone

Sad that it doesn't look like Bunnyman will be contributing to the debate this year he was a good judge in my opinion. His Little Mix winnings were a good sign off though
![]() So far I'm finding this year tough. No song as yet that ticks all the boxes or one as yet that strikes me as a banker at a good price for a top 10/top 4 punt. Early days I guess and the rehearsals will reveal an awful lot more info. |
By:
bex - I like Iceland, great little song, but I haven't even bothered to back it. With Sweden, Denmark, Estonia and Norway all very strong I think it will struggle to get near the places sadly. Deserves better, but I doubt will get it.
By:
oops did it again, posted a reply to a post that was on the other page sorry.

By:
Agree about bunnyman, bex. You can't blame him tho when betfair got more of his Little Mix winnings than he did.
