Few quid sloshing about to have all 128 players + 16 Saudi wildcards taking part in this - £2000 minimum take home (be more if they could persuade anyone to come in to watch it) - would have thought they could play a qualifier or two in the UK - but suppose it's all experience for the lower ranked players.

Somewhat odd frame this. Surely Holty missed a trick by not potting the red into the bottom left pocket and crashing into the reds to free the pink/black?!
365 market maker went 1/9 Hallworth after 2 reds/colours, even though he was always going to have to go into the rock solid pack. |
