Players Championship 2025

Just done a quick tot up of the opposing Ding's defeaters acca since he lost to LMEY at the 2024 Welsh, and I make it a 733,606/1 poke at B365 prices

Christ! It needs multiplying by 5.5 just for Shanghai and here!
Afternoon gents.
I've been dipping in and out of this tournament - and as mentioned previously, very poor liquidity about.
Am hoping that it is down to being the summer months and things may pick up in the Autumn (especially for the BBC events) - but not holding my breath!
Good luck for today.

I just did a quick test and TNT on Virgin Media is approx' 14 seconds behind BF Live Video!
I would expect TNT on Sky to be slightly better than that but still probably about 10 seconds?
I've not even bothered measuring, mate, but it could almost be measured in days.
There have been occasions where the scoreboard on 365 has been up to 3 pots ahead of BFLV! To temper that, there have also been occasions where 365 has awarded points for pots that have subsequently been missed, so read into that what you will.
I have multiple BFLV windows open, and it's apparent from that that the delay is different (sometimes markedly) depending on which table you are watching (just listen out for any significant applause audible across more than one table).
TNT is definitely not helping liquidity, IMHO.

It sounds like the B365 scoreboard is best avoided then!
I did notice the other day that the TV table seemed quicker than the others on BFLV.
Bring back Eurosport!

The trouble is, mate, there will be people concluding that the whole thing is best avoided.... (and it seems either they are or the affordability checks have killed them off)
Yes, it seems that that is already happening - It's not a massive surprise really in a sport that is so slow moving that people don't want to put the time in...............
The slow pics and lack of money has sent it into a seemingly terminal decline.

Saudi's not having a clue about holding a tourny here, with disturbances all round....
what do they mean I can't shout out while they play....they just hit ball yes...
Wondering if Ron is decent value around 1.48 v Waco
The latter has lifted his level here, but I still feel Ron should be able to take this down. They have barely played each other before which is an odd H2H given how long they've both been around.

Decent enough opening frame I suppose - maxi from Ronald
Theppy may have needed that £50K
- or do they get £50K each - cmon they can afford it

Ron scored all the points so far - even giving Waco his 4
2-0
2-0
lat, would have been appropriate indeedstrong start for sure
Especially considering this is now supposed to be a part of the 'big' ones
and a little 142
Odd thing is he could still lose this match

Theppys started this evening with £50K - Ronalds taken 2/3 of it
looks like there may be twenty people in the audience is this a record for that place
Yeah - £147k + £33K and £200K minimum for the final -not a bad few hours
incredible
what have the bags been like for this event?

I've not really seen anything disgusting, TBH. Ronnie's been very clinical. Robbo's not scored at all compared to lots of others, yet he's still in the final.
Plenty other players have scored averagely on same tables, so I'd say fair play to ronnie on this immense scoring.
The thing today which might change the dynamic (I'm not around for the first session), is that Robbo's been taking an eternity again. Looking for problems where there just aren't any. Ronnie is going to have to be on it mentally to not let it get under his skin. It's fecking tedious at times.
Hendon reminding O'Sullivan there's another 2 x £147K prizes up for grabs - that's him off the WST Christmas Party list

But if it's got him the results here, then surely a good approach...?

It depends whether you think he's a better player when he plays faster or not. Other than Selby, I'd argue he's had a pretty nice run to the final. And I'm pretty sure he would tell you himself his ideal AST is 20-21 seconds - it's discussed often enough, including by him, over the years.
"look at all the faces" says Hendon - hoped Ken replied "where?"
Just in case anybody's wondering, my cream is under Wrongholed (albeit there's nowhere near as much as there has been in previous matches).
Ding lost to Hawk
Hawk lost to Waco
Waco lost to Ron

I wish!
I'd defo be looking to offload £150k of it, given my W form.
Would need 75,000 of us £2 bettors to help you out with that - might take some time

Robbo certainly took his time on that break of 4 and going behind the yellow - Ronnie came back to the table and decided to go for a 3 ball plant = GAME OVER

Most events they give the medal to someone in the crowd as quick as possible - not here though - not out of respect - there's no one there
Indeed, mate, though I'm absent for the first couple of days of Wuhan. Be lucky!
robbo think the saudi arabian masters win "surpasses" the world championships, so to hell with the triple crown and all the history, winning a tourny in front of a couple of people beats it
It's a joke of a tournament, but I'm quite pleased for Robbo - think he deserved a bit of luck in his life, he's had some hard times in particular dealing with his wife's issues I believe, and he's always had great potential as a player, still has.
300k final frame is pretty serious S*** even for these boys..like it or not...
