IN watching snooker ( pot black) until now well over 60 years best performance I have ever seen on a snooker table had tenner at 33/1 .(first round qualifier ) CHRIS WAKELIN
Dont know about best ever performance on a snooker table tbh, didnt see much of todays but yesterdays was nothing out of the ordinary (wakey didn't have to be imo), but credit to him for following up his R1 victory (assuming he finishes the job). Hard to say where Ronnie's at exactly, but if he's not on it, there's nothing to fear for anybody in that half of the draw, including Wakey. I think anything over 10s to reach final is a fair bet at this stage.

Those frames from 7-2 to 10-2 were as good as you can play. And, although Hendry exaggerated just how good the yellow was, it was a truly fantastic, and fearless, shot given he was leaving 2 reds. It was a sign that Wakelin felt he could pot just about everything during that spell, and he wasn’t prepared to take a backward step, as maybe he had when Robertson came back at him in R1.
