Hopefully, Brecel can stay in touch. Murphy showed it is possible is reel off successive frames, but that match was effectively dead when he started the 4 frame run. He will need some luck as we know he won't be trying to play no risk snooker. The games in the top half have been predictably dire.

Said at one point yesterday or the day before that he's been involved with snooker for nearly 20 years. Makes you wonder how he can still be so clueless.

Wasn't there a match some time there Walker didn't even understand the most basic rule, like a free ball or something? Vague recollection of something seriously embarrassing anyway. If he just stuck to interviewing, asking sensible questions, instead of trying to be all the players mates and trying to be funny, he'd be just about bearable.
