I wish there was a live scoreboard that you could actually rely on to judge things, but there just isn't. 365's score is often wrong, full stop, but sometimes I swear they add points before the shot has actually been played.

I posted pre match that this could be a passing of the baton from the old to the new in this sport.
I think I'd say that was a fairly accurate posting (and thankfully bet) I made now!  Zhao even seems to have been saving his best results for this crunch time in the tournament. |

Everything seems a lot easier when there's no resistance coming from the other end. That's how Ronnie's got this far.

Lat I know you like the scoring stats so, 8 50+ and 2 centuries out of the last 9 frames - that's just a bit special isn't it?
and even managed to score 69 and win the frame he didn't get a 50+ Pretty insane to do that v this opponent and at this level. |

 bet wondersI didn't get in that early but did hit the 6.4/6.2 winner prices a fair bit, and main bet at odds against before this match, he was around 2.5 which looks crazy now of course. |

ironically, I would have been a layer pre qualifying, given what he's had to do. But his price was just a shade too high for me to lay it luckily.

I waited until seen the 1st few frames sat morning
was obvious it was bucket event then rule out all the safety nits, light scorers, bad cue balls & kn0bs/bad mindsets then just pick through the draw & prices ended up xintong, tubbs & wu yize averaged around 10/1 my money outright probably take some out later for sanity |

There had literally been nobody scoring better (50+ breaks) than him since his return. The question mark was always going to be what his opponents did when their chances came. Lei had a pretty decent go but still came up short. Nobody else has come close to taking their opportunities.

I felt like outright price corrected v quickly after round 1 did play v small -1.5 against wakelin that's only match interest I've had should have played hcap in round 1 but left it

Still slightly surprising that a 'scorer' type of player like Ron hasn't found anything though against him, given it favours his style.

There was always that with Ron yes - though it didn't seem to appear as much against the other opponents.

Yes, seems clear he has only just felt pressure - it's what annoyed me about the Carter match, there were points Carter could have done it early in their match, and I'm not sure Ron would have responded.

I said after carter win there'll be a few people surprised how easy he'll be to knock out when a decent opponent turns up
