This session sees a rerun of Mugthew v Miah from a few weeks back, where Miah ran out a comfortable winner (having very much changed his MO). He's not as big a price today, but a repeat would not be a shock.

miah is super talented he could go a long way if he has sorted his head out

Feck's sake, Hammad. Pace = miss, always. You'd got loads of angle there and really didn't need to twaat it.

Gilt edged chance for Miah to get back to 3-2 down, only for him to miss a sitter red - wasn't even through overhitting, just rank alignment. Mugthew does the rest, 4-1.

Lisowski looks generous @25/1 in the outrights. he's as short as 14/1 with most firms.

These best of 7's are a minefield. Brecel is a huge price , as is carter, but it's literally a pin job when it's this format.
Page and maguire looks good bets tomorrow at around evens or just under. |

Carter and Mags are having horrible seasons, and Brecel still isn't playing at all well and is up against a player who (entirely out of character, I accept) made 6x 50s last week in his Q match. Carro is, once again, looking down the barrel at losing his tour card, and is £13,500 behind the fourth best player to not already be safe on the 1-year list (if my maths is right). If ever he's going to be motivated, it's now.
Xu should be fav against Mags on this season's form, and Rory is exactly the type of player who will wind Ali up something chronic. He can also play a bit. I have Page as a v marginal fav against Jimmy R, but the metrics have nothing more than a gnat's tadger between them across the board. There's certainly no juice there on what we know. |

LOL! Says it all that in the tournament scene setting pieces on the Beeb, they're still speaking, even now, like they're not convinced that Ronnie's going to turn up.

"That won't go in, surely?" Drops.
