Qs start tomorrow 1000. Up to 6 tables, BO7s, 4 waves a day.
Now, I am slightly concerned that we might not get these, as BF have already put up CL (which they don't give us pics for), and having two tournaments listed concurrently isn't something that happens often with snooker....

I've almost given up trying to make sense of this tournament and am not upset about being out tonight and missing the second semi.
3 of the 4 semi finalists still have losing AEs for the season and are winning fewer frames than they should for the way they score. Incredibly, given the season he's had, the only player who is outrunning his odds is Luca, and that's despite him taking a full frame longer than his best on average to make a 50 break. 1 of the semi finalists has lost more frames than he's won this season.
Despite how horrifically Selby played yesterday, he's still scoring the best out of those who remain in the tournament, and by quite a bit - not that that has necessarily counted for much this week!
Nothing would shock me about how today and tomorrow go.

Had a tenner on Luca to win the Worlds @ 35/1. Hoping for a good showing today. 
Or he can't believe his eyes that Selby finished a frame in under 10 mins
Luca's possibly got a migraine and was also complaining about the bright lights.
It would be a shame for the crowd if abandoned - I actually know a couple who were going today but not sure if it was today, tonight or both!

I wonder if they've been drug testing this week? Wonder what you can take for a migraine that's not in contravention of the doping rules? Ali sick, Selby sick, Tommy Ford sick, Luca migraine....
You also wonder if they have some sort of bug and are passing it on ?
Selby needs to go against how he naturally plays and drag the frames out a bit

It's interesting that the Championship League winners group was in Leicester last week. Mate of mine works near there, and COVID is running rife through his office at the moment. More than half of his team have got it.

This is like a game of snooker down the pub after a few beers !!
Some shockers in this frame - going up a point at a time
Maguire 5-3 - seems to have remained calm from what I've seen - Ali the one smacking his cue off the table and banging it on the floor.
Ali would have been sat in his chair bloody seething - but to get back to the table straight away is a big boost.
carter is quite good at comebacks hes made a few over the years

I've backed (sorry aftertime) Maguire his last two games, but today I will be....laying him for sure.

Prices look about right to me. I thought Mark Selby would be 1.4 so I've had a small lay of 1.36.
Think Maguire will find a final a stretch too far mentally - done well to get here though, and I liked his odds when he was outsider for both the last two.

I can't get too excited about either player at these prices - If forced, I would bet Selby.

Tried to put all my green on Selby @1/5 when he was 3-1 up but the market wouldn't let me trade for some reason. done me a favour anyway.

Overpowered at the business end as I guessed he could be.
Great to see Selby play well when he needed to,he hasn't played like that in ages didn't play his best but showed he still has that calmness under extreme pressure,don't know why though i just expected him to fold as that's what he's been doing fur several years..Be interesting to see if he can keep it up,i have my doubts because he missed a couple of real howlers probably just an age thing just gonna win the odd thing here and there..
