Rather one sided in the end - thought it would be closer but some nice pots from both and Smurph looking in decent form -- 6-2

Couple of v intriguing matches today.
Judd and Ding are both scoring really well this season, and both are in the top 5 when you just look at 50 scoring rate (along with Zhao, Theppy & Wrongholed). Judd is winning a higher percentage of frames played, but not by much. Judd's done so in slightly higher grade of matches. Strip out the CL and the H2H is 9-6 in Judd's favour. The last time they met was COC back in November, where Judd ran out an easy 4-0 victor. The numbers going into that, in terms of edge, were all very similar to today's. It's impossible to argue that Judd shouldn't be fav, and Ding will obviously need to be on it to prevail, but I definitely couldn't be a Judd pre-KO backer at sub 1.4. Watch and see a frame or two. Kyren's recency scoring numbers are the worst of everyone left in the tournament (Luca's are next in). That hasn't stopped him from becoming a very clinical killing machine. Luca's game is as loose as ever. Yes, he pulls off some unbelievable pots, but that's simply because he has to. There's an absolute gulf between their numbers for the season, and while Luca did prevail in Riyadh, I think Kyren would have to have a pretty bad day to not win here. 1.5 looks fair enough. |

WTF was that from Judd?!?

Lovely start from Ding, 1-0.
|

By:
Ding playing well - Judd has helped him out a bit in both frames though. "Watch and see a frame or two" good call.

Where's the money here? Judd 2.1 at 365, sub 2 to lay here.
