I think Luca battled really well last night, still not at his best. But what a shotmaker, amazing player to watch, great entertainer .

Come on, Pandora, Kyren should have finished the match off 5 times before he did. That's not battling, that's being let off the hook. The only time he really battled was in the safety exchange at the end of frame 10.
No-one could ever say he's not a great shotmaker, but that's because he has to be. His cueball is terrible and his shot selection to get there is often questionable. Got tied up this morning longer than expected. Can't really argue with the Tubbs v Shon prices across the season as a whole, but a replication of the manner of the victory against Robbo could make things interesting. Wouldn't be the first time Shon has failed to follow up, though, and Tubbs obvs will be wanting to get one over him after their war of words earlier in the season. |

McMaunus just said - Needle between the two? Shon not best friends with Maguire and he's lost last 4? matches against him - so if these two are not getting on it might work against Smurph.

I thought they were once good pals then Murphy was critical of Allen's slow play when commentating. Probably better if they both concentrated on playing and jacked in commentating.

They had words prior to the commentary incident. Tubbs basically called him a hypocrite on Twitter about an inconsistent view on something or other (can't remember what), and then soon after, Shon essentially said Tubbs was cheating by playing slowly.

Kyren is unlikely to get as many gifts tonight as he got last night. If Judd plays like he did against Ding, it will be extremely difficult for Kyren, IMHO.
