Not seen a huge amount of Sarkhosh, but quite surprised Dave's as big as he is this morning (and indeed as big as he has traded!). Not sure taking shorties at this time of year is necessarily a good idea anyway, but a match to keep an eye on.
Lyu played quite well earlier in the week before throwing away a big lead with some "interesting" shots (something that seems to happen a lot with him) ahead of a final frame rally. Oli's been in and out this season, but strictly speaking, on the numbers, there's naff all between them across the season as a whole. 3.67 v 3.69 50 rate (albeit there is a chance that Lyu's numbers might not be truly representative), 50 v 50.6 frame win rate, Lyu recency numbers are slightly better. Hard to argue with the market favouring Lyu, I guess. Hopefully he goes 4-0/4-1 up and we can get a cheap lay in. Xiao's had a really good season, and while Dylboy's numbers are improved, Xiao is likely to have a bit too much class. Couldn't be a backer at 1.2, though. |

Dave misses a bad red. Not sure if the crashing afterwards was him or not.... Sarkhosh lose to Reanne on Wednesday!

Dave flukes a snooker and Sarkhosh ends up sticking the final red

By:
Dave steals on the pink, 3-3
By:
The crashing might have been Selt. He's just stood in the corner and had a chat with himself after yet another miss.
By:
Phetty plays safe, the cueball is 100% heading for the pocket, but somehow it rattles and stays out. Selt stays seated, head down, looking at the floor.
By:
Didn't see how he got in, but a decent break for Selt once there, 3-2 Phetty.

5-0 Xiao
Absolutely vile shot from Dave on the black there, gifts Sarkhosh another great chance |
By:
4-1 Lyu
By:
4-3 Sarkhosh

Phetty misses a really bad virtual frame ball. Table is horrible, mind.

Baaaaaaad miss from Sarkhosh, albeit with the rest, when in to steal for F&M

By:
Lyu overhits the cueball and will now do well to get on the brown
By:
He gets it, though!
By:
And wins 5-2.
Fair play, he had every chance to lose that frame if he'd wanted. |

The Riyadh 4 to conclude proceedings on LV. Wouldn't want to be taking the combined 1.8 on the acca, I don't think.
