It really does, and it's the same/similar for all the ladies (or at least was). I don't know what happened at CoC, but Bai definitely came away from that a better player. Prior to her match there with MJW, she was making a 50 every 22.5 frames played this season. In the 5 weeks since, she's got that figure down (still across the whole season, so even more remarkable) to every 4.41 frames played! That's nuts, and completely out of nowhere.
